Went for a socially distanced walk with a friend last week. She found  50 in the street and I found a coin in my pocket but I don't think that really counts.

I love it when I am checking pockets and find money I had forgotten I had.

So far this week I have found 7 pence and...........

Another £8.00 off an £80.00 spend coupon.  And yes I was very grateful and I did spend it.  I even bought myself some coffee that I have wanted to try but couldn't justify it as I am an addict to tea.  But every now and again I love a cup of good coffee.  Also part filled freezer with some meat and veg.  We are really okay for at least 6 weeks now.  Thank you person who couldn't use it.

I have been dismayed to see so much stuff left outside of charity shops that clearly are closed.  Have decided to address a few envelopes to the managers/charity and to carry cash with me.  If I see anything I can use it's better that I donate something as anything left where I live goes to landfill.

That is a kind thought.  I am sure they'll appreciate the money.  Don't forget to include a "gift aid" declaration, so that they can claim an extra 20% from the Government.

on the 2 occasions I did this I just put 'raw' money through the letter box.  It was a kind poster on here that suggested another method and got me thinking.

I know stuff left outside belongs to no-one but I wouldn't feel right not donating.

Thankfully the last few days the streets have been clear.

After posting on here yesterday I went to the supermarket............and found a pound !

Found 2 pence the other day.  Was thinking about money lost and found.  Was also thinking about NOT wanting to find jewellery because that has to be worse than losing money.  As I was thinking this, literally, found a silver earring.  There it was glittering right in front of me.  Then yesterday found another one in grocery shop.  Must have looked potty walking around peering at people's ear lobes 

So if I start thinking about things that I don't want to happen i.e win the lottery, become an Olympian, lose weight, grow 4 inches........wonder what will happen................
