Michelle that's a whopping fling boogie, you can be excused from them for the rest of the year :D

Spuds peeled ready for tea (mince & dumplings/mash/veg) beds made, WM on, one more xmas pressie ordered, hoovered kitchen/hallway/spare room/living room. Got dressed ready to go out, emptied DW reloaded DW, bleach in sink, worktops wiped. :j

That'll do me till after tea.

LOL! Dusty I asked myself the same question on Friday. I put them in the recycle bin in the end as they are plastic (but not sure if right sort:confused: ), plus littles like a couple to play doctors/hospitals with.

At work again today and only thing I have had to deal with is one of the rental properties boiler leaking, so just a couple of phonecalls.

Made some mince pies and jam tarts last night with littles so DH to listen to rest of footie in peace. DH persuaded me to have a chinese but to be honest I really did not enjoy it and only ate a small amount (filled up on mince pies instead:D ).

    This morning I have

    S & S kitchen
    Dishes done and put away
    Emptied bins
Made everyone (but me) sausage baps for breakfast
    Put WM on
Made sausage casserole for tea (all ingredients in slow cooker)
    Aired and made our bed

Bathroom needs a S & S when I get home and general hoover through but expect DH will do that (will wait and see). Want to wrap some presents tonight too, no good putting it off. Also need to do the last of the ironing.

Right off for a mooch around still looking for inspiration of what to do for DH birthday tea. I will be at work until 3pm so am thinking slow cooker but needs to not be too sloppy to eat as will be from plates rather than table??

Happy birthday LJD1 and juliejim! Hope you have a nice day!

Well I've still not done any flying, although OH did all of the washing on Friday as it was his day off work, and he had man flu, so I'm very impressed! I did have to put 3 loads away yesterday though.

Went into town in the rain yesterday as they have the free park and ride on at the moment, and managed to buy another Christmas present for ME! Why is it, that I keep on looking for other people, and come back with stuff for me instead? Forgot to book a haircut yesterday - just realised with all of the talk about it on here. My hair is in a terrible state with loads of split ends, but have been putting off having it cut, as it costs me £35!

The sun is peeping out here for the first time in a week! Hope it stays out, cos I fancy going for a walk with OH for a change today, as we never seem to do much on a Sunday. I'll try to send some sunshine up to the birthday girls too! :)

    Have a nice weekend everyone!

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Just a quick question - do we keep posting on here or is there a different thread each week (and will the new thread link be posted here?)

I need to get on top of "stuff" this coming week!

Oh well lets see if it works!!

Firstly Happy birthday to to the birthday girls, juliejim and LJD1.
Lil_me Congrats on the exam

So a bit of a catchup from me.
Had a good week, kept up with most things even though i didnt post, and the house is getting tidier. :j
Been busy at work then Fri night was the staff party which was fun. It was a long walk home after the bottle and a bit of wine and then bottle of champagne we won. But amazingly i felt fine at 8.30am when i woke up and got on with going through all my clothes and drawers in my room yesterday, trying everything on and deciding if i hadnt worn it for a year (ie since i moved in here) that it was going. 2 bin bags later of clothes and 1 of carp, where does is all come from????!!!!!!

Today Ive had a lazy day and am getting on with making my presents. Sat in bed bending and snipping bits of wire to make small pins to decorate the candles im giving as pressies (painful on the fingers and so boring!), whilst watching an episode of Sharpe. Was lovely start to the day to watch a dashing young man in a uniform wielding a sword. Have been promised it in real life too, but i have to wait till later on in the week

    So today i have to:
Strip the bed, wash and remake.
Mong in front of the fire
    Make pressies and wrap.
Make some cards to send to the parents etc.
    Do my paperwork admin
Pay a bill - will do that while im online.
    Mong a bit more
    Open a bottle of wine
Watch Top Gear whilst eating the lump of pork thats currently in the slow cooker with a can of cider and some onions and carrots.

I was going to do some stuff in the garden but its miserable out there and i fancy staying dry.

    Right bill where are you.....
Have a lovely Sunday, see you on the new thread.

Edit: so it did post ok, wasnt sure as the screen was a bit weird, oh well must be me!!!

Thanks aimeelister - I have a fair bit to try and do in the run up to the Festive Season and being disabled it takes a lot for my Get Up And Go to actually get up!

    Hi The Dragon

I would recommend the half hour challenges, its amazing what you can achieve in a short space of time against the clock (and it motivates you to do more - well sometimes:D ). I find by adding my own list of what I need to get done it keeps me focused. Plus these guys are like my conscious if its written up here I have got get it done;) .

Am currently making up my to do list to run along the flylady list now.

 To the birthday Flyladies too - have a good one:j
  • God i am so bored today. Charlie is still in bed from about 2 hours ago, though probably not for much longer. I've got a few jobs done but i am seriously losing the will to live. I really have no motivation today - probably because of the amount there is to do, and partly because i am still knackered. I never seem to catch up with anything.
