Yak, what a miserable morning. Not a great start, DS1s bus 15 minutes late again meaning had to drive DS2 to the walking bus or he wouldn't have got there, been late for school and had another almighty hissy fit. Part of me is praying his bus changes when the contracts are up as I am sick of it being late, it's who DP used to work for but I think more to the driver being at fault than anything else as DP was never late for his contracts. Last driver was only ever 5 minutes late at the most.

Right, sitting room looks like a bomb site, so that is the first mission....more DPs mess than the kids, he just leaves everything where last touched (as an example just on one shelf he has deoderant, 2 empty desert dishes, spoon, glass, bandage, empty can, watch etc) when he asks what I have done today (when he eventually gets up) 'Well I spent an hour cleaning up after you!!'

Ok, coffee first, mooch about on the internet and email check, then I will get started. Laptop will be off by 10am!
One day I might be more organised...........

I have to go to the dentist for a filling in a mo. So far, all I have done is the dishwasher, and to get a pork and apple casserole in the slow cooker - will get on with the housework when I get home - after all, sitting and drinking coffee will not be an option at that time - I will be dribbling too much

I also want to start getting my Christmas presents sorted - I have been collecting throughout the year and putting them in the cupboard, but need to assess what I still need to get!

  • Its took me ages to get on here this morning....hope the site doesn't crash again! Am going to print my list off I think just incase!

Can someone give me a big kick this morning as I was so lazy yesterday and really need to keep on track today!

Michelle - I know its none of my business but can you not get the doctor/midwife to sign you off until after Christmas. You sound so drained honey, I just felt like sending you off to bed and looking after you reading your post.

Hugs for all those with car, kids and other problems too!

Right i am off to tackle the lounge which should not take too long. I am gonna cheat and use wet wipes on the leather sofa rather than the saddle soap as that takes ages. Kitchen is all sparkly, BM on just drying to make up a load of darks for the WM. If I can crack on with the lounge then collect little may get her on the playdough this pm so I can do the ironing.

Need to phone soft play place to confirm numbers for DD1 party on 22nd.

Right, music, coffee and boogie in the living room:D
  • Ok so far today I have been to the shops to get some Christmas cards! Am off now to see how much I can get done, back soon with an update!

I HATE my street for parking! Went away for 5 mins and the bloody git behind me moved forward stealing my space outside my house so he could go across the road (which is blocked with roadworks) and work on a house thats being built (hence the road works). Wish we hadn't spend the drive money on that stupid TV . So now I'm in a mood.

    Anyway, been busy

    Made my bed
    put make up on! (shock-horror)
    tidies living room
    did dishes
going to put load in TD and make kids beds

Just waiting on shades blinds now.

Pigpen, I have a 7 year old boy - he's obsessed with Doctor Who, so he has asked for Doctor Who toys - would your 8 year old like anything like that?

If you have a B&M anywhere near you, they have the Genesis Ark set for £12.99 (I think it was £30 in Toys R Us last time we looked).
