I seen to be fairly organised today.. I love advent calendars.. I now have a tidyish backroom.. you don't get your calendar until that floor is visible and vacuumed!!!!! *twinkle* It's not perfect but when they have a combined age of 28 between 4 of them you can't ask for much more!! lol

The front room I need to whizz over and the stairs need a good sucking.. but I'll do that tomorrow.

I am writing christmas cards tonight.. GLEE!!! I love it.. I even dug out my festive pens.. (gold and silver of course!!)

Mine works :p probably won't now I have said that!

Pigpen, yep the bin can be that place, as long as the 'thing' can't breathe etc :D Oh and you are mean, why didn't I think of that sooner:rolleyes: , no3 is eaten and the train set still stretches from door to window, ok, will threaten no number 4 in the morning................see if that works. Oh can I have your spangly pens? I like the ones that dry quickly, sometimes you get them and all you end up with is a splodge on both sides because they don't dry, ever! (Ok maybe I am just impatient)

Dinner made and eaten, DP tried being nasty again with the 'oh it better be quick as I am going out soon' which he did at lunch time, well this time I lost my temper :o I think however he got the hint.

Dishwasher loaded, another washer load in, will take the wet laundry and the dry stuff upstairs when I take the boys up to bed, put it away while they are settling, train set away first of course...
One day I might be more organised...........

Pigpen - I have the same school of thought as you regarding advent calendars...they have to work for them and they have three each this year (various presents from grandparents etc). Breakfast was eaten and tidied up double quick time for the rare treat of chocolate before school (followed by extra good teeth cleaning!). Homework and dinner eaten / done quickly for calendar number 2 and 3! I love them and think I might just buy some for the rest of the year.

Kitchen pretty tidy including the hotspot on the window ledge and breakfast bar. Looking forward to tomorrow's list as the living room was newly decorated at the weekend so it's not had time to get untidy yet. I guess i'll do my own mini list tomorrow as i've got the day off work.

    1) Take cat for jabs which she'll make me pay for for the rest of the day!
    2) Vacuum the stairs
    3) Finish christmas cards
    4) Order OH's christmas presents - can't remember where I put the list!
    5) Half an hour paperwork
    6) If I watch any TV i'll also do commercial break blitzs.

    Speak soon xx
    January budget
    Nothing left!
  • evening again everyone. Another one almost bites the dust.

had an exhausting day. i barely slept as i got myself really stressed out about work and how much i should be doing to be on top of things there, and then coughing all night.

Day started out badly when i went to get charlie up, and his nappy had leaked (again - why always on mondays???) and the gel stuff was all over him. We had to bath him before we could do anything else, and then the rigmarole of bed changing and getting the WM on while needing to be out the door ASAP to do what i needed to at work.

I then had two lessons where i had to shout at the kids, so i am now struggling to speak.

i also stopped at work 21/2 hours longer than i should do on a monday to try and get some stuff done

charlie is also suffering badly with nappy rash, teething, and coughed so much he made himself sick before bed, so a full outfit change for him and me. Luckily, some of the pyjamas i washed at the weekend were dry on the radiators, but i just feel like another what was the point day.

I must have spent at least an hour filing papers that were left in my pigeon hole last week and generally catching up. Plus, the memos on my desk made it clear exactly how much i need to do before xmas. (i loved the bit where my class of nearly 30 y9s have to sit 2 x SAT papers before the end of next week, then i need to get the 2 papers marked before the 17th of December.

On a flying front, i have also got the washer on with a load of baby bibs, i am about to go and do an airer shuffle so charlie has some more dry stuff in case he is ill tonight, and i only have one lesson to plan for tomorrow, and dinner to cook when DH decides to come home.

never mind - only 13 more days at work till i break up for xmas.

daisydoll and pigpen truly sorry to hear about your pets this weekend.

    lil-me sorry about your friend.

puts the little moans in perspective again.

Will try and pop back in later after doing some more.
