Just quickly popping my head round the door as I have a busy day ahead. No exercise for me this morning as I did a long run yesterday and need to rest up. About to walk up to Tesco so that should set me up for the day.
Yesterday I did pretty well on the no snacking front and I did stay on plan (pat on the back for me) However my portion sizes were pretty large, I have a feeling it will be a STS for me when I weigh in tomorrow but I'll take that over a gain. I can't believe we're 20 days into this!
Meal Plan:
B - Porridge and bits
S - melon
L - Hummus salad sarnie and red slaw (it's a bloomin' large cabbage)
S - melon
D - left over chickpea tagine with pommegranate quinoa and greens
P - strip of dairy milk and a biscuit
Suns shining

https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/carrot-courgette-orange-cakesI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.8 -

Brambling - WI STS
No surprise there- thank you very much brioche buns and chocolate spread, cereal munching, chocolate scoffing week!
That cake sounds delicious - I may have to try that myself. I'm sure if I read my posts back I'd think I was on a cookery thread not a diet thread
Despite STS, after 3 weeks I think I'm getting more into my groove, certainly with the nibbling though not so much the portion sizes! I made some chapatis at the weekend and have been adding those to my evening meal, one more left then I shall be back to the normal size portions. Definitely didn't really nibble yesterday, even cut my breakfast down a little, slow and steady wins the race as they say. I need to get some more fruit today as I've only a small piece of melon left, I may swop my morning snack for some broccoli with a smidgen of hummus to dip it in (though I was very shocked to learn how many calories are in hummus).
Meal Plan
B - porridge with bits
S - broccoli and hummus
L - hummus salad sarnie and red slaw
D - chick pea and squash tagine, quinoa pomegranate and greens, chapati
P - line of dairy milk, small biscuit
Working today so off for an early morning run
Have a good one
