Hi I am not quite caught up on reading, I'm weighing in at -2lb the same 2 I put on last week, so I now need to drive down the next round as has been the same since beginning of July.
Did a 10k club run last night, paced and timed by kind and patient ds rubbish time, but I did it and will enter the time to a virtual club run. Todays exercise will be walking and stretching.
Keep up the good work!

Weigh in this morning and I have put on half a pound.
Whoops, it must have been that incident in the kitchen with the butter and the french bread - and maybe the dairy icecream that was on offer. Still it was very enjoyable. I am going to start running soon. It will either be Sunday or Monday depending on how my sleep goes. Its been very disturbed lately and that makes me eat more/exercise less. So the plan is to get some shut-eye this weekend with renewed energy to lose that half-pound and more.

HiHope all is going well tighteningthebelt, you rocked the fasting on your trial.
Nananibbles good to read you’re feeling better after your lie in.
Well done losers and sts, commiserations on gains.
Weigh day for me STS please Brambling.
I’m going to make more effort this week to plan my menus and not wing it. I seem to have got into a rut with the foods I’m enjoying so I’ll have a look for recipe ideas.
Today’s menu:
Breakfast:(my most favourite) peanut butter almond milk overnight oats with a blob of Greek yoghurt and berries- raspberries and blueberries today. Coffee with cream.
Lunch: charred cod fillets on a bed of roasted veg- multi coloured peppers, cherry tomatoes, courgette, eggplant, garlic and onions- topped with a sprinkling of pine nuts with a side of steamed spinach.
Dinner: antipasto platter - assorted cured meats, bits of buffalo mozzarella and feta, marinated red peppers and sundried tomatoes and artichokes, served with fancy salad leaves drizzled with aged balsamic and sprinkled with walnut bits. Fizzy water. Choc chia pudding.
Laters: milk chocolate
Take care all

Afternoon All,
How did that happen? I swear it should only be about 11am!
LittleVoice I often find that housework makes me ache far more than exercise does. Enjoy your trip to Pret and best of luck avoiding the temptation of their chocolate brownies
Molly Congratulations on the loss, with everything else you've had going on that's amazing
nananibbles Tiredness and stress are two of my biggest triggers so it's not surprising that you felt the need to do some rather stringent quality testing on the flapjacks. I'm glad you managed to get a bit of a lie in today and I hope you enjoy your walks with the dogs
TTB Very best wishes for today, I hope all goes well
roundtuit I've never heard the phrase "mind your own knitting" before, I love itDid you send some of the cake back with your son's girlfriend? I really can't be trusted around cake so have to make sure I deliver a fair amount to family and friends or I'd eat the whole lot.
ditty Congratulations on the loss and doing a 10k run - don't focus on how long it took, just be proud of yourself for running that far
SandyShores Commiserations for the gain, at least it's only a little one. I hope you manage to get some decent sleep over the weekend, it definitely makes everything easier to face
Gingerlily Congratulations on the STS and if today's menu is you when you're stuck in a rut I'd love to see what adventurous would look like!!
Yesterday's food wasn't great but it was a definite improvement on the previous couple of days. Today I'm battling against tiredness, it was gone 3am by the time I finally got to sleep last night, and my husband deciding that he wants a chippy tea for dinner. I know that making myself something with loads of veg will make me feel a lot better than chips but they're so little effort that they seem quite appealing.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx9 -
Lol, Izadora that’s me trying to make more effort on day 1 of my week. I was just thinking the cod would have been nicer from the chippy with a side of chips, I’m not keen on white fish unless coated in batter. Enjoy your chippy tea if that’s what you decide on.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

Friday check in with a 3lb loss. I don't deserve it and I checked the scales 3 times. My clothes don't feel any looser either. Maybe the insane week at work has counteracted the poor evening eating. I'm really looking forward to mindful eating next week. It feels like that time at Christmas where you are fed up of eating all the food and ready for the diet 😂
@tighteningthebelt and everyone else facing challenges ATM, best wishes. Xx8 -
Late to check in this morning. Run already completed and just getting ready to walk the dog.
Back on track yesterday, helped by the fact that I ran out of chocolate
I have a full on day today so will just do a quick check in.
B- Porridge and bits
S- fruit salad (already prepped)
L - cream cheese, marmite and salad sarnie with red slaw
S- fruit salad
D - stir fry with smoked tofu and rice
P - Chocolate bar if I can find one!
Enjoy the sunshine if you get some

Hi all. Just checking in. Well, I have delighted that I have managed to lose 1 lb and am now 12 stone 13. Even better is that I had miscounted and thought I needed to lose 3lbs in the last fortnight to get to here, but it was actually only 2.
School has now broken up so I am hoping it will be easier to keep to my 1500 a day. I'm really looking forward to cruising down those 12s to get to my target of 11:13 by end of Sept.
