@tighteningthebelt - sorry you had a rough day on Friday - I agree eat what you fancy xx
Ive had a picky weekend so far - I had a little more energy yesterday and did some mindful baking with DH. We made cakes for the men and to send up north to my DD as its her birthday very soon xx
Well done to losers and STS and keep on keep on to those who have gained xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Hi sue14 and welcome 🙂👋
Brambling please can you put me down for a 1lb loss this week? Now we have hard proof that The Gods of Weightloss are fickle or cruel ... first 3 day fast lost 4lb, second 3 day fast lost 1lb!!! Still I'm not complaining (or they might charge me more next week🤣🤣)
On the upside I've now lost 70% of the weight I had to lose which is 20% of my starting body weight, so I'm thrilled with that.
The plan for today is porridge and banana for lunch and a pork chop with carrots and green beans followed by melon for dinner. .
Licence to change my plan at will!
Edit: supper of 25g mixed nuts, 2 marshmallows and about 150ml of DSs Heineken!
Thanks to everyone for their kindness. 😊💓A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks12 -
Good morning, everyone
I can’t remember when I last posted, sorry to have been AWOL but Senior Canine had a couple of bad days so I sat up with him for a night and a half (my chair is not comfy enough!), and I had a long and emotionally draining phone call with a family member, end result being the inability to string two words together and make sense.
Ttb as all have said (better than I can), stay strong, be kind to yourself, all best wishes for a successful outcome.
Nananibbles I’m very sorry for your troubles, I hope all will be resolved satisfactorily and speedily for you.
All who’ve lost weight congratulations!
All who’ve STS remember it’s just the pause button, don’t rewind!
All who’ve gained commiserations, don’t give up!
Weighing in with an STS, with all the emotional disruption food plan went adrift, I won’t bore you with the details, suffice it to say yesterday’s strawberry ice cream sundae was the least of it (but lots of strawberries so at least one of my five a day!).Back to reality this week, I hope.
Menu for today
B : porridge (oats, water)
D : lamb chop, cabbage, hg french beans, courgette; strawberries & cream
T : warm salad of chicken livers; gooseberries and either cream or yogurt.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Morning all,
Post exercise check in for me today. For some reason when I looked back over my meal plan yesterday I couldn't find the '3 bowls of cereal', or the '2 brioche burger buns smeared with chocolate spread' (omg they were delish) that I wolfed down when I popped over to pick DS upOther than that minor blip I was pretty much on track
Thank goodness I lead an active life as I do manage to burn the calories off, though all be it I don't really loose any, at least I know I can maintain!
I hope you're feeling rested and a little better TTB. Well done all those losers - there seems to be a lot of weight flying off at the moment - I have visions of little jelly chubsters being splattered on walls and ceilings or washed down plughole
Meal Plan:
B - porridge and bits
S - fruit salad
L - cream cheese salad sarnie and red cabbage slaw
S - Fruit salad
D- either quorn roast if kids are around or left over tagine.
P - chocolate

Just popped in to say...Blue, you are forgiven everything and you did very, very well to STS. Nothing worse than seeing any member of your animal family in distress. Been there, done that and got the sodden hankies to prove it. Lets hope and pray that the strawberry ice cream sundae isn't hiding somewhere and lying in wait to come up and slog you one next week.
nananibbles, I'm lost in admiration for anyone who can burn off their energy. Well done you. My energy refuses to work. It just lies there sullenly, padding out the rolls of fat and stubbornly refuses to part with one fat cell. And, no, I don't lead an active life. Never stand when you can sit, never sit when you can lie, is my mantra.
As I said. Lost in admiration.
ttb, look at a pound of butter. That is what your body has managed to work off this week. It might be a poor reward for 3 days of abstinence, but your body isn't interested in your struggles with self control. It is far too busy with the business of all the complicated chemical changes it is having to make to empty 1 pounds worth of fat cells.
You did well. Congratulations to your body!

HiHello Sue14. Well done on the sts bluedoggy and well done ttb on the loss.Todays menu is perhaps a little overly chocolatey, I am using up dessert type thingies in the fridge before they'll need to be binned.Breakfast:Chocolate chia almond milk pudding topped with a blob of greek yoghurt and raspberries. Coffee with cream x 2.
Sunday Lunch: Roast chicken served with broccoli and cauliflower gratin and pickled beetroot. Chocolate avocado pudding topped with blueberries for dessert.
Supper: Cottage cheese and salami and cherry tomatoes on cucumber rounds served with a side salad of fancy mixed leaves, aged balsamic and walnuts. Fizzy water.
Laters: milk chocolate.
Take care all.

Welcome Sue14 👋
Blue I hope senior doggy is feeling better, our furry ones do cause us to worry don't theywell done on your STS.
TTB well done on you -1lb 👏 hope you're feeling less drained
Nana you've a lot going on so are allowed a cereal and brioche blip, I've had a packet of chocolate biscuits blipat least they are now out of the house (well strictly speaking as they're in me they are still in the house
)
Yesterdays trip into town left me wheezy for the rest of the day, a combination of a mask and the heat, at least coughing in the SM ensured people kept their distance although I did wave my inhaler at a couple of people to reassure them and I didn't need much shopping. The guy in the local electrical shop told me to take the mask off if I wanted to when I mention it was 'just' asthma and as he was the only person in the shop and was behind a screen I did 😷 I'll go back in for what I need next week as they will disconnect and connect the DW I want.
I was invited around my sister's for lunch, a tuna mayo baguette and unfortunately my nephew had made a delicious courgette, carrot and orange cake, he has a really light hand when baking. I may have to use up one of my many courgettes in a cake for the freezer. I will admit to tasting a bite of his raspberry brownie as well but declined a whole piece
Dinner was the last slice of a courgette, rice filo pie I made Friday with salad and the last of the biscuitsLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin8 -
Hello x
Welcome Sue x
Brambling - that cake sounds absolutely delicious - i know if i used vegetables in baking the men would be aghast but I really like the idea x Actually im going to look for recipes for my birthday cake in a few weeks time - they can't moan then!!
Well I need to draw a line under yesterday's eating as it was distinctly sweet and chocolate based - felt suddenly really tired and worn out in the afternoon and needed chocolate!
Well back to bed now, lots of hugs xxx
