Morning xx
Hugs for Molly and anyone else feeling bleugh xx
I had the fish and chips cooked in the oven for my tea yesterday; and a Penguin with a cup of coffee when I arrived home from work. So three meals and one snack - not calorie counted, but should be ok., I think
Breakfast and lunch today are a repeat of yesterday. And I'm thinking spaghetti on toast for tea - not had that for years and it's quick and easy when I arrive home after work.
Have a good day.
Take care.

SandyShores said:Thanks for all the snack tips. I'm going to try the crunchy watery veggie things. I love cucumber and chunks of carrot and all stuff like that but I need to have it prepped ready for my defence. Celery stays really fresh in tin foil - although I don't like to use foil if I can help it, and I always forget its there when its covered by the foil. It would be great to prep a few crisp size packs of chunky mixed veg ready in the fridge.8

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.8 -

Molly glad you were feeling a bit brighter this morning, let your menfolk spoil you for a few days
I made a couple of face masks last night but was too tired to sew straight and had to do some unpicking having sewn the elastic inside the second one only realising when i turned it the right way, I'm feeling kind so may make my sister a couple before she sees mine and asks me too, I've found some fabric in my stash which she will like. TBH as as asthmatic I don't like wearing them but will see how they go, it will be easier than explaining in shops. I found some pipe cleaners left from when my nephews were small (i'm a pack rat) which i'm going to try and sew over the nose piece to try and deter the fogging of my glasses, the varifocals mean moving them down to sit on the mask distorts them.
I'm going to draw a line under todays' food but I will cook pan fried cod and air fryer chips for dinner with some green veg to try and get back on track. The rain encouraged the courgettes to produce and I picked five lunchtime so offered three over the fence to next door and kept the french beans and raspberries for me. Definitely time to get creative with them as I now have about five in my fridge.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin9 -
