Morning all!
Much better sleep last night although I don't really feel raring to go. I think that the roof stuff is nibbling away at the back of my mind. Plus we have a house inspection on the 14th. They've never told us off but just can't settle knowing that I'm being checked up on.
I had an email telling me that they have calculated and approved my loss of notice pay. Except it makes no sense whatsoever. Spent an hour on the phone to my friend last night going through the figures and can't make it work. It's either too low or too high. Have emailed them back to ask how it was calculated.
Trying to think of a list to focus me up today. Weather is damp again and I kinda need to get into the garden. Anyway:B/L/D from stores. Must think of some lunch.
Treat more wood with stain as OH takes so many chunks out of it with his band gear - done
Fix chunks taken out of corners in the wall likewise - done, and given it a dab of paint.
Towels on a very hot wash to give the machine a clean at the same time - done. I've put them on the line but it's been mizzling all day
Crochet - done
Attempted to cut the grass and ragged some weeds out.
Put the dining room back into some semblance of order
Put away my washing
Will add more as I go...
Have a good one all

Morning
I wrote a list out yesterday but it disappeared! Anyway was nothing earth shattering on there
Today:
* made breakfast hash and there's a portion left over for tomorrow
* windy and grey here but about to embark on a 6 mile walk in the woods with the dog
* going out to support friends who are launching their food business today. It was supposed to be before lockdown. We are nervous but will see how we go...
* also want to call in to the pub for a pint on the way back - again another friend's business, again we will see how we go. If either look like we can't social distance then we aren't going....
* would like to do a HIIT session but will see how exhausted I feel after the walk!
* do some sewing. Really want to get these pads finished over the weekend so I can deliver them and collect the money! Also need to do a quick repair on a jumpsuit I made (I popped the waist stitches after putting on so much weight during lockdown!)
Ok might see if oh is up for a games night tonight
Hope you all have lovely daysDF as at 30/12/16

Went for a long run, and then I ran out of energy - ironic that is. It's the first day of the summer holls, might go and get stuff for a nice big salad for lunch. And then it's clean the house day and do something creative day.

I've been updating my diary recently and not popping back here, but i'be ben a bit more organised today:
Sorted the freezer and checked the meal plan.
Put towels on the line, keeping an eye on the weather its not supposed to rain until 6pm but it's very grey, put tea towels to dry on the airer.
Put throws from the sofas in the wash
Did a survey £1.50 in the pot.
Updated budget sheet as have some additional income this month.
Few things ending on eB*AY today some with good bids.
I have loads of options for dinner tonight but might do pea/mushroom and asparagus risotto or this Kindanara recipe from Jack Monroe but with normal mushrooms
I need to order a veg box for next week
My next jobs are hoover the stairs and clean the fridge
Have a good day all

Evening folks
Where is everyone? All gone out for a roast dinner?!
Bit of a busy day. It's a year since OH's dad died so m-i-l wanted us all at her house. We did our best to keep fairly distanced but who knows eh? Can't really go against the wishes of a grieving widow! Contrary to what you might expect, we all had a good laugh and it really took her mind off it.
I made some apple and raspberry jelly this morning using raspberries from the allotment and apples that were stored in the freezer. It looks fab and seemed to be setting well in the pan. Have dropped a jar in to the neighbours as they keep passing us beer.
We nipped to the allotment for an hour or so on the way back from m-i-l's and did a bit of tidying. OH really tired though as he's not sleeping well. Denies that it is related to the date but I suspect that it probably is the underlying cause. He's been in relatively good spirits considering, although he did have a funny five last night.
In MSE things, I just need to prep everything for tomorrow and start the week again!
Have a good evening all
