What small DFW things will you do w/c 29th June?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important 😀

Hello!

I have remembered the weekly thread this week, and I have remembered to bookmark and post on it as well. Sorry I'm so rubbish with posting on here - my brain has been having a bit of a struggle in terms of getting things done and adjusting to working from home and schooling my kids, along with the bathroom drama. Ah well - here I am (I'm sure you're all thrilled about that).
Today's list...
Aim for NSD
Use up veggies in fridge - soup if need be
Continue crochet blanket for my mam for Christmas
3 hours of school work
Run a training session on Z00m for the rest of my department this afternoon
Start packing the car ready for my tip run tomorrow afternoon
Washing
Wash dishes
Hope everyone is doing well...Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Afternoon all
Thanks for starting us off Purps
It is dull, chilly and windy here today, the nasty drying wind that we keep getting is back
OK for drying washing, but not good for anything else!Today's small things:Early morning dog walk, free exercise for him and me
Home grown strawberries for breakfast
Checked banks, paid milk bill and a couple of other things online, updated spreadsheetPosted an ebay parcel and a RM surveys itemPopped into butcher's shop while in town for the post office, he had a BBQ offer on, his own lovely home made sausages and burgers, and (ordinary supermarket type) chicken drumsticks and thighs, so bought a pack. £20 for 30 items. We only really BBQ when camping, but I can cook it just as well indoors
Now all portioned, packed and frozen.Fed tomatoes and watered where needed, cut down unruly lemon balm (it will grow back), picked a few strawberries, some cress that got sown in the garden by mistake when I wasn't looking what I was doing, some rocket, some loganberries, some mangetout and a single courgette and a single raspberry that I ate (autumn rasps, only just starting)Lunch was (sort of) sourdough toast with pate. The breadmaker sourdough was a success - not authentic sourdough by any means, but nice with a crispy crust, and doesn't have that 'samey' taste that breadmaker bread generally seems to have. And it cost pennies, so I will definitely make it again.Dinner will be the rest of the (again inauthentic but yummy) enchilladas that I made yesterday
