I have £50 per month entertainment fund and that is being spent on takeaway at the moment as there are no lunches out with friends at the moment. Plus I have a clothes fund.
I think it's because I have had such a tight budget, it feels wrong to do extra spending on myself. I should re-examine the in's and out's...."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

I can literally double up my activity levels with housework! Ta Babs, or should I say 'Danke'!
Do you have an old smartphone now? If so, download the myf1tn3ss pal app and log your exercises, that will show you how much you burn up in a day, or have a quick look online at key things so you've an idea.
I confess to smartphone phobia - I do have bizarre issues reasons..... maybe I should look at a really basic wrist thing....
Definitely no justification needed. You've a bigger budget and can afford to do your home up, replace things and should rework your figures."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

I didn't realise that about the Tip so will definitely have a look if I am in that position... Thank you.
Surveys can be boring but they serve a purpose and always worth it when cashed in.
I am trying....
The tip thing, it might be worth just checking your local council web-site, you never know you might come into their criteria? I know ours has several things: people on benefits, or, those with vulnerabilities/disabilities....
I am hoping that surveys will fund birthday presents/cards this year...."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

Don't get one of those wrist things, the cheap ones are a waste of time / money and the expensive ones are just that, expensive.
Have a quick look online to see what cals are being used for different tasks, that's free aside from your time looking.
Plan, leave, think, leave then buy, gives the thinking time to weigh up want v need and allows time to shop around and find the cheapest place for it.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
I think I will go for old-fashioned research - cals per task! And timing.... I don't have much enthusiasm for gadgety things. I feel 'up-to-date' because I have an exercise bike (but no electronics on it)!"...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

Will be interested to see what you weigh after 7 days Ren. I try to eat less empty carbs/sugar, exercise once a day (dog walks) enough to get my heart rate pumping 30-60 minutes & drink plenty of water/no added sugar squash. Do you have an old cushion that you could make into a padded seat for your uncomfy exercise bike seat ?0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Old school works, it's easy, non-invasive and only requires a pen and paper.
I think the £1shop sell padded covers for bikes, but you will adjust to the seat. If not look up how many cals are used for fast cycling and do a quick session rather than a slow one.
- you could always tie a jumper or something to it if no cushion.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Great news on the tip run, yum to lovely food. I have been inspired by your porridge and healthy eating. I am glad you have saved as now you can treat yourself. Fantastic news. Wishing you a great week.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Ok, so, I maintained the 2.5lbs weight loss... hoped I would lose more, but as follows:
I haven't bought any sweet stuff since last week, i.e. around 7 days no junk, drinking a glass of water with every meal, herb tea at 'elevenses' and a small cocoa late afternoon (use the choc shot 'Sweet Freedom' as it means just heat up plant milk in microwave and add a squirt - low calories). Don't have squash or juice, as I am supposedly re-training my taste buds away from sweet things....
I have upped activity - using bike, trying to increase times on it gradually, starting from 5 mins x 3 daily, now at 15 mins. Now trying a hit and miss approach of - if watching tv, trying to keep cycling! Gasp.... using resistance band to start to learn using that, not successful, as dog poked me hard in right ear-ole when I was attempting floor exercise, so I had to get (stagger) up and let her out. Tried again, when dog ran round to left ear-ole and did same, adding on barking and leaping on my chesticles....! I think I will start that again today, shutting her out the room....
Not started counting calories/chores yet - starting today...
Noticed I am craving and eating more carbs, mostly brown bread, brown rice, brown pasta - and see the results of these in weight fluctuation daily...
Dog would not walk more than 15 minutes yesterday, poor little soul, I am hoping the slightly higher temperatures might encourage her to do more.
Maintaining similar diet each day as I have previously listed - porridge & fruit, some kind of veggie hot meal, more snacky/salad, nut and apple snacks. Slight blip on Sunday as relative discovered a vegan choc ice in the freezer, so tiny treat, followed up by large G&T later that night!
The daily weighing is ... interesting. Notice that bread particularly can up the weight by 0.5lb the next day, but that's if I happen to have 4 rather than 2 slices that day.... trying not to obsess!
Money - saving - walking to relatives whatever the weather (things haven't changed much there sadly), adds at least 40 mins to the day, but, going there less as they are adapting to changes in health, or at least insisting they are coping better, and given the stricter lockdown, although we are 'bubbled' I am concerned about passing anything on to them...."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

Erm. I think it's more the square inch bum cheek to seat ratio that makes it uncomfortable, if you catch my drift.... I surprisingly don't have a lot of cushions that I think I could use, I may 'borrow' the dog's bed to 'spread the weight' better, ensuring she isn't sleeping on it at the time...."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."
