Its taken them about a month in all, but I think they weren't in a rush because my searches were a long way away. I chased the HA myself regularly and told them as soon as my searches came back and they approved it within a couple of days since I told them this.csumm4 said:@aleeks .. how long did it take for the HA to approve your offer please?1 -
Well another week has been and gone.. KR promised us on Wednesday that we would have our offer today, they have said that 4 time now in the past 2 weeks 🤦♀️ our MA is on holiday now till the 11th January 🤦♀️0

Hang in there! Yours seems to be right on the read-to-go precipice - might as well have as merry a Christmas as you can and try to put it to the back of your mind until w/c the 4th..? 11th would be too long >.<!csumm4 said:Well another week has been and gone.. There's still some working days left in the year! If your broker is on holiday maybe there's someone still there to look at your case. It doesn't hurt to pick up the phone or send an email you might get somewherecsumm4 said:Well another week has been and gone.. Still awaiting the correct memorandum of sale... which the housing association said would be sent to my mortgage broker on Wednesday! Hopefully this is the final thing Kent Reliance need before hopefully making an offer. Fingers crossed it’ll all happen over the holiday period; and that there’ll be some people in the office between now and January!!

Little update.. I was so deflated yesterday after again receiving no offer so I decided to try giving KR a call myself even though I know they only deal with brokers. I rang the intermediaries number 01276 601 041 and they were great, they said because of the brokerage I am with they are happy to speak to me and took all my details which I am so happy about as my MA is on holiday now till 11th Jan. Also, turns out alot of what my MA said isn't true. They went through all the activity on the portal with me, our last piece of the puzzle pur update MOS was uploaded on 11th December and all new documents are now reviewed in 7 ro 10 working days. Once it is reviewed it is that point we will go on the offer queue which is 5 working days currently. The person who has been dealing with my case from the start is calling me on Monday. So nothing will be changing now till after Xmas but at least I feel a little more in control now 😁3

Chase the HA yourself on Monday? Rang Housing association on Saturday morning to chase. Received Memorandum of Sale by email this morning (a Sunday!) amazing!!
Hopefully I should have some good news early in the new year! Surely I’d have been rejected by now if I was going to be...2
