We applied on 9th October. KR asked for bank statements a couple days in, then booked the valuation for 28th Oct and then queried transactions last Wednesday and issued our offer today. Not sure if our valuation was a physical one but our house is a finished new build. Good luck to the rest of you!!!
  • Congrats! So around 6 weeks total. Did you keep ringing to check? I think yours would have been a normal valuation if it’s finished! But that’s great news! I’m hoping I get the offer soon as they have the plans and I’m desperate to know!  X

That’s really great news. We applied a week after you, so hopefully we will have our offer soon too. Really happy for you 😊🥳 How did they tell you, you got the offer? Via text, call, email

Our broker emailed us to tell us and sent the offer letter through. To be honest our broker didn't chase them much, mainly stuck to the KR 6 working days time line.
  • When you say 6 days working timeline what do you mean exactly? Sorry to keep asking but I applied 3 weeks ago and not heard anything till I chased Friday and they asked for bank statements and a p60, plus the clarification over address. Still no clarity on the valuation. I would have thought they would do a desktop one given the house isn’t finished but I’ve had no definite answer yet and this will affect so many people who are moving into new builds that are still being built. Thanks again 😀

So KR take 6 working days to review any docs or additional correspondence you send them, therefore whenever they asked for something, my broker only chased on the 7th day. But they last asked about transactions on Wednesday and then issued the offer today so I guess it doesn't always mean youre going to the back of the queue. I would think if they're being quiet for some time it means they're happy with everything so far, who knows you might get a surprise and find out you got the offer like us. We were expecting an update on Monday 16th and they came through today.

Has anyone had Kent ask multiple queries about transactions? Like you explained once and they needed further clarification?
I've not had any transaction queries at all. What kind of thing are they questioning?
My partner is self employed but he regularly contracts for this one company so he gets regular payments from them weekly and they just wanted to know what those credits on his statement were.
    Ah I see - thanks!

There were quite a few people who were told they were getting an update today. Did anyone actually get one ? 😃
Just had an email from my broker - he says  "all the requirements that we’ve been asked to provide are showing as ‘satisfied’ as of 12 noon today and the valuation report is now received however we need to await the underwriter to review the case" (7 working days is the current expected delay.)

    Ho hum.
Sounds like they're telling you what the portal tells them. What docs did you send in last?
Yeah. I sent in an extra bank statement, Accountants projection of income certificate, and copies of my parents' passports (some of my deposit is gifted.) Those were submitted on the 19th Oct and haven't had any further requests since then. Everything 'satisfied' apparently.

Guess once an underwriter looks at everything that's when the questions start coming in!
It looks like each broker calls the stages different things.. Your docs have been with them a long time, surely they're underwritten by now. Maybe you're in the offer queue now?
They’ve had ours since 21st Oct too and we’ve not been told what stage ours is at only that it was due to be reviewed by the end of business today and hoping to hear something tomorrow x
    Any news yet xx
  • Have they done A valuation yet? And if so desktop or actual?

I don’t think they tell you if it’s desktop or actual. Ours just said valuation
  • Ok thanks. For those who also submitted end Oct What updates have you had? Have valuations been done? Mine still pending because of above mentioned issue
