Afternoon all,
@Baileys_Babe I'll keep my fingers crossed for your dh too! It has made a massive difference to our family life and his health, he's eating better, sleeping better and now getting out for some exercise daily. Long may it continue!
Its a real day of sunshine and showers here, I've managed to get one load washed and just about dry on the line.
I've been for a walk around the block with ds2 for some free exercise.
Cheese and onion toasties for lunch as the bread wasn't very fresh
Leftover mash and veg for tea which we'll have with sausages and gravy (dessert will be a little piece of the chocolate shortbread I got yesterday)
A bit of homeschooling, using the Oaks academy website (wishing we'd looked at this earlier in the lockdown tbh) as I think its better then what the boys have been sent to do from their school - so we've said to them that they'll do some of that each day during the school holidays too.
I think thats about it! Take care all.
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Got the week off this week, so am holidaying at home rather than working at home
Am focusing on making this year count, so that when it feels safe to get back out into normal routines and things, it doesn't feel like I've just had time stolen by the fear of c19. I can't do many of the things I want to do (traveling, seeing friends and family) so am focusing on doing the things that I want to have done (even if the actual doing of them is less appealing)
Anyhoo, today I will be:- updating my spreadsheet / banking and listing next 3 things I need to do - a wise friend said if you list everything you need to do, you can get overwhelmed. So just list the next 3, make a start, then list the next 3 when you're done. Works for me.- clearing out my utility room (aka storage dump) so that all the stuff crammed in elsewhere has a proper place to live. (I had debated seeing what I could sell, but to be honest, I'll just ending using the room as a place to store the stuff again until I could do that, which rather defeats the object!)- making a list of all the cleaning stuff that I seem to have accidentally stockpiled in various places round the house so I don't buy more! I appear to have bleach in the bathroom, toilet, kitchen and utility room, for example. Ridiculous!- cleaning up my dusty ol' camping chairs so I can take them to other places to sit safely (and resist the temptation to buy new ones!)- spending some time looking at forums and seeing what else I could be doing.3 -
