Haven't managed to do everything from yesterday's list yet - think I need to save them for a weekend. That said, I did get things done from list things that I had already started so:- managed to cut the cost of a subscription that I really do use by a third- made another batch of breakfast flapjacks rather than buying breakfast bars- got lots of washing dry on the line- made a homemade face mask- checked bank and updated my spreadsheet.Tomorrow I will try to post plan at start of the day :-)3

Hi everyone
@PurpleFairy26 - Thanks for starting us off this week.
Been missing a few days but have kept the MSE/Small things firmly in my mind and been very productive at home - still observing lockdown and only going out once a day if we need something. Thursday DS cleaned gutters front and back - he made it look really easy too (the only thing he didn't like was all the neighbours watching cos the weather was good). Friday all the wood we needed for new fencing was delivered, so Saturday we started on one of the biggest panels, Sunday we tried to take a little easier as were so tired (and it was Father's Day as well), Monday we finished the whole area, painted all fencing and once we'd relocated the shed it looked amazing and is a much more usable area (I was contemplating getting another table and chairs for that area but realised we have enough deckchairs etc if people visit so why just buy something just to fill a space). Today has been a much easier day as we were really shattered but felt good at how much we've achieved during lockdown. Popped to see mum and sort a few financial matters for her and then just relaxed in garden and fitted fence lights (bought reduced from Wilko's). Today we also managed to
Checked Bank & made PAD
Spoke to mum (numerous times despite having seen her
)
Made cornflake buns for DS
Purged a few emails
All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
Checked: Lucky Bob, PMP, WinaDinner
Have a good evening everyone.

Forgot to say: we've also been watching lots of Football - managed to buy a N*W Stick with 3 months free sport instead of purchasing the Sports package from Virg*n or buying from Pass from N* W , saving us £25 +

Went for a free kayak trip on river, and had a bath, not a scheduled open water swimming session so a bit of a surprise! Any how got back in and had a lovely outing with friend. Later sat in garden and looked at bats, had some dinner and relaxed before finally going inside.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Morning folks!
Update on the roof. Had an email from the LA yesterday saying that the contractor had been trying to call and couldn't get through. Gave me his number so I called him. Apparently our land line number kept cutting straight out. Considering we've never had a land line in the 8.5 years we've lived there, I'm not surprised. I don't know where they got that from. Plus the LA always rings my mobile. Anyway, let the LA know and issue is likely the box gutter (no surprise there). They are going away to do quotes.
Other than that, just the usual things so I won't bore you all. Going to be a hot one today so stay cool!
