Morning xx
Feeling a little more like myself this morningI really do need to keep a food diary so that I can rule out (or in) any food that knocks me off my feet like yesterday.
More energetic start to this morning - DS and my Dad have gone karting. I heard Dad's car pull up outside and realised that I hadn't heard DS get up! So at 6.35 I was calling DS and grabbing keys, fleece and shoes to go out and tell Dad that DS would be 5 minutes. I put several bottles of water, a snack, and a mask in a bag for DS and handed it to him as he walked out of the door saying that he's been awake since 4.30am with nerves....about being in the car with Grandad. He has a point - Dad has been semi-shielding since lockdown began, and social distancing in a car is erm 'difficult'. Anyway they've gone - and will be on an airfield for the best part of the day with limited numbers, no spectators, and directed parking by the Club. What a world we live in!
First brew has been supped. Definitely a two brew morning so
Round 1 =
Brew 2
get washed and dressed
feed the birds
put out rubbish and recycling
Hopefully today we'll progress to Round 2!!! I'm not hungry so breakfast can wait.
Sweetie says Good morning to you all

Morning all
Weather looking a bit better here today, cool and blowy but no rain at the moment, DH wants to get a few garden jobs done so hopefully it will stay dry. WM is swishing so will put that out when it’s done, I have my dailies to do and I need to pop out to get some cat supplies, other than that though I think it will be a pottery sort of day.
Back later with progress report if there is any LOL.
Have a good one x8 -
Morning all
In bed with a brew contemplating our day. I did so much laundry yesterday, also sorted out the airing cupboard so I have two large bags for the charity clothing bank. DDs room was cleaned and tidied too. I definitely need to clean the microwave today, it’s awful - bad flylady.
Will report in later xx9 -
Morning all,
I gave in at 4am, having been awake for 2 hours, and got up, watched the clouds blowing across the sky from the LR window. Eventually went back to bed and got another hour or so sleep. So it is definitely a 2 cuppa morning. This morning’s plan was to take a new-to-me frame to the allotment but given the wind, that does not seem such a good move as it might end up on the other side of the country.
I will make that cuppa, get dressed, sort a load of washing, then decide on the replanned day.
Back later x9 -
I got all the dailies out of the way and have just come back from a two and a half hour dog walk. My feet are killing me.Spend less now, work less later.10

Hi ladies,
We managed a lovely long dog walk through the woods before the heavens opened. DS bedding is over the airer, the chicken and spuds are in the oven and the kids are watching a movie/playing minecraft. I have put a broken metal chair on the pavement, the scrap men are usually out 7 days a week so hopefully that will be gone today.Weekly planner on the fridge has been filled in, I am going into work this week for a couple of days which will be odd but I would rather do it now than wait until September when I would be an anxious wreck. This means both children are going to school on those days which is good.If HoneyBear is reading along I hope you're okay lovely xx9 -
Afternoon
Dailies, garden jobs and long walk done, supper is in the slow cooker and I’m going to curl up in a chair and read my book... see you all on the new thread x9 -
Went out for a walk on the saltmarsh, plus a picnic, however it tipped it down, so we ate in the car and drove home again!Been cleaning various things and not a lot else.Checked on my new veg patch this rain has washed it down nicely, so I will see what I can find to plant in it this week.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

ASB good to keep your hand in.
DS and DH went off fishing first thing. I ran around with hoover and mop, tidied kitchen then went to meet Mum near a local stately home to go for a walk. We thought that with the weather being pretty awful it would be quiet. We were wrong, and a lot of people weren't making any attempt to keep their distance on the footpaths. Anyway we did 6.5 miles at quite a good pace (Mum is amazing at 79) .
Came back, made curry, feet up now and feeling sleepy. Planned meals for the week, have got a challenging Zoom meeting tomorrow night, dont think it will be an easy week at work.10 -
YL your mum sounds fab. Get those big girl pants on for your week ahead lass, I’ll have mine on this Tuesday and Wednesday when I actually have to TEACH for the first time in ages. Impart knowledge to surly teens; I’ve almost forgotten it all 😂😂😂
Winner tonight - kids asleep by 6.45 👍🏻👍🏻 I’m in bed with my book now. See you on the new thread ladies xxx9
