Morning all
No YL I haven’t had them done. It’s become the ‘thing’ I just can’t bring myself to sort out, even though I sourced a chap who sounded good. I’m terrified of it for some reason😟 (I realise that sounds so silly, my anxiety at its finest).
I am still waking up really, have a cuppa in hand and the first job is to strip the bedding and have a shower. We will probably go for a nice long dog walk before lunch. Take care friends xx9 -
Dailies are done and I've taken the dogs for a walk between showers although we got a bit wet on the way back but it was refreshing. Fridge is clean and I've planned meals for the four days I'm off. DH will plan the rest.Spend less now, work less later.9

ooops I'm still sat here - well, I did say I was weary. I've eaten breakfast, supped my second brew and decluttered ££££ on a new journal.
If I didn't think that I would wake up feeling worse than ever I'd go back to bed! Instead
Round 1 =
declutter parrots
have a shower and get dressed
feed the birds
put out recycling
Baby steps

Inspired by Skinty I have sorted out herbs and spices, cooking sauces, oils etc, and washing is drying on airer.Spend less now, work less later.9

Coffee machine descaled. By the tea drinker, obviously.
HHI x2 done.
Next job - sort out fish that DH brought home yesterday, and also the tins etc from last week’s online shop which are still all over the utility room surfaces.Raining, but I’m liking the freshness.Have a hug, Round, just for being you x8 -
round.. the antibody tests is only 87% effective if taken 14 or more days after the onset of symptoms.. so it is likely it was wrong! Ask them to repeat it if you believe that is what it was. My mil had a high temp for 24 hours and no other symptoms at all.. this is why there are so many who have had it who simply do not know, and also why they can not begin to guess how many people have actually been infected.
Having a cuppa and getting the gloss done on the landing so the chests of drawers can go back against the wall. I will have some semblence of normality somewhere in the house! I am then getting the understairs bit finished and finally glossing up the right hand side of the stairs.. just the left side to do then which is dodgy because that is the side the bannister is and the smalls need it to get down safely..
Cuppa.. black.. grey.. black..!! Thats my entire day!

Quick update for accountability, rain has panned the idea of a walk and the washing I put out is soaking! Oh well it can have another rinse 😂
DW on, WM on with second load to go over the airer, ratatouille made ready for lunch, handfuls of gibble from the garage flung in the black bin as I have space 😉 and now I will shower. Thanks for being an ear to me ladies, it means a lot xx8 -
awww, Fayolle, thank you xx Hug gratefully received and working its flylady magic xx I thought about you when I ordered the journal - my 'you can never have too many notebooks' buddy
Piggers - I'm not fussed enough to have another test....I'll keep on taking sensible precautions and que sera sera. Re: painting the banister and safety of smalls - not sure how long paint takes to dry but, assuming that you have a downstairs toilet, could you have a downstairs 'sleepover' for one night while the paint dries? Just a thought xx
We've not had much rain here and it's still hot and humid. I've put the fan on before I melt.
Round 1 completed.
I've got a question: how do you all know each others' addresses so that you can send flylady kindness through the post? Asking for a friendxx

Me again. Downstairs floors swept and I got down on my hands and knees to properly wash the kitchen floor. Then I did lots of seed sewing in the greenhouse interrupted pleasantly by having a chat with DD and her husband who turned up open route to shopping. Just having a late lunch of crumpets. It's temporarily dry again so I'm going to take the dogs for a second walk.Spend less now, work less later.10
