Wow it got hot again. Anyway somehow got my act together and cleaned the kitchen AND the bathroom inc. kitchen window - so off piste flying. Put aired laundry away but could not face another ironing session as too hot. Brought dry washing in, paired and homed socks.
Round you minx!

Morning lovelies,
Didn't manage much in the way of cleaning the living room but did sort every draw/basket out as the urge to purge is still very strong. I then went for lunch at my aunt's as ds had stayed there the night before (we're in a bubble) having someone else prep a meal for me was so nice
ASB the charity shop it open from Wednesday thanks goodness or I would have put them in the free site thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for the carpet tip, will grab some bio washing stuff and give it a go!
Right better get up and moving for the day
Well wishes and positive vibes all round x10 -

Morning all. Sorry for absence yesterday, but after that awful week I took most of the day off and did just WMx1 and 2 lots of shopping. MrAl's was almost empty (no queue), and town was the same apart from a queue of about 20 people outside H0meBarg$ (which I didn't need to visit). I got all the basic groceries that I had nearly run out of, including SR flour, enough meat for about 3 weeks, and all Rosie's food and treats, so I hope I won't have to do any more food shopping this month apart from milk, possibly bread, and greengrocery which is delivered fortnightly with no delivery charge. I must say this system suits me very well - I'm not a social shopper!
Also DH had his eye test and has ordered new glasses, which were definitely needed. The "Should've gone to..." branch was very well organised
Last night I opened the fridge door and was hit by a pungent smell, so the first job this morning - after making a cuppa! - was to clean out the fridge thoroughly and defrost it - there was an inch of ice on the top surface of the freezer compartment, which may have a bearing on the fact that the thing has been humming and squeaking to itself for the past week. I traced the smell to the Camembert that I bought yesterday, so it is now in a plastic box with an airtight seal
I have also
- checked emails and sent a couple of short ones
- eaten breakfast, showered and dressed
- S&S'd the kitchen and bathroom
- hoovered round upstairs (Rosie is still shedding undercoat)
- had a chat with a friend who is still shielding.
I need to
- do my physio exercises while the painkillers are active
- hang out the second load of washing from yesterday
- wash DH's bedding
- write a birthday card for DGS1 (12 on Sunday) and organise DSiL's present for the following week
- make some more phonecalls
- take Rosie for a long walk this afternoon while DH is in a Zoom meeting.
(((Hugs))) to Fayolle x and asb x
Welcome back dancemum x
Congratulations to all retiring OHs
Hope everyone has a good day xx10
