The only reason I suggested using social media is I remember reading about a couple who had an issue with their new build and the developer wouldn’t do anything. They started putting stuff up on Facebook & Twitter and quickly got it sorted. For the life of me I can’t remember what the issue was so can’t find the article to link to it.

But I guess the problem here is what resolution is wanted.

The tracking plan shows the body of the car hitting plot 255. It was never going to work.

That plan looks crazy tight from the outset to me. Are there dimensions (hard to see) and are they correct in reality?
Yes, and there the problem lines. It was built to plan, but the plan didn’t work in reality.

The plan's showing the car going in forwards (look at the angled front wheels). That's not going to work.

But looking at the photo, driving forwards then reversing in, then drive out forwards? I can't see why that would be a problem AT ALL.

Y'know, the way that the car's clearly been got into the space in the photo...

Correct, now the front garden has been removed you can indeed drive in front of the house and reverse in, our point is that to accommodate their planning error we had to lose the garden with no apology or even acknowledgement of an error from the builder. It is still tight, but doable.

Would moving the lower step to the side (where the blue bucket is) give you anything extra to work with?

Actually I'd move it to the other side .. that would give more room to play with without the risk of hitting the step when reversing in. (The "garden" is pretty much non-existent as it is, so losing another piece wouldn't make any difference).

I'm not sure if you missed one of the photos that showed the garden that has been removed to make that turning space. There is no garden now.

That's my point ... you have no garden now as it is, so what difference would it make to move the lower step to the left of the upper step (as you exit the house) and put a slab/paving to reach the road? That could give you a little more room to manoeuvre when reversing into your drive.

We bought a new build in June 2019 off plan.
I am not sure what buying "off-plan" means, but it does not fit your example of ordering a black car and then they sent you a red one. You would have inspected the plans before buying, seen the size of the rooms, the garden and the drive. You would have known the measurements were tight?
