Is it beyond repair? I’m hoping to get 23 years out of my car. It’s only 13 years old

Yes. It needs a new ABS sensor, which has corroded so would need a whole new hub (£700). Also a new clutch, as I'm the only person who can drive it. New exhaust, new bearing for either the alternator or water pump (can't tell where the whine 8a coming from). Steering is less responsive and probably needs some welding for the MOT.
Drivers door is broken so I've had to climb across the car for 6 months.
Someone ran into the side of it in 2022, so I just hammered it straight but it looked awful. In one of the storms, one of my garage skylights was weighed down by a brick and the skylight blew away and the brick landed in thd middle of the bonnet.
Swapped it today!

Well done on the swop. Hope the newer car lasts as long and you have better luck with it. It must be nice to be able to open the driver door and step out ☺️
