i'm not really interested in their point of view, when airlines around the world are thinking about themselves first and customers last...bradders1983 said:Or, claim on your travel insurance, an option you dont seem to have even considered.
There is no point being arsey with me, I am merely telling you how it is from their point of view.

Yeah that's going to have to be my port of call. I believe my policy covers it although they have sent so many updates regarding cut-offs and types of coverage required.Westin said:If you purchased travel insurance you may be able to make a claim from that if US entry restrictions no longer make your travel plans viable. Sadly for you, their point of view (their terms and conditions) are what you agreed to.Pancake123 said:

look, i'm frustrated dealing with them. sorry if that annoyed you. I'm being told by an airline a bunch of information that makes zero sense from any point of view - take your flight to get stranded, no refund available.bradders1983 said:

You would not actually be stranded. You simple will not be allowed to board the flight at MAN or DUB as would not have the correct documentation or permission to enter the USA. ESTA travel is suspended.1

Who is that a quote from above? As already said you wouldnt strand yourself abroad, the OP wouldnt even get past the check in desk, and if by some fluke he did he wouldnt get through the preclearance facility at Dublin.
Edit - this post now looks ridiculous as Lincroft deleted his first post.0 -
Well you first check to see if your policy covers such a situationPancake123 said:Great, thanks for providing that @bradders1983
