Ouch, @natlie nearly £800 on groceries. At least now you are aware and can take action. We historically spent horrendous amounts on eating out in good restaurants, we are reformed characters now.

Thank you, I've also just added £50 to a Help to Save Account, I learned about this recently and thought I'd start it straight away. I am going to add some of my decluttering income each month - its so good to see the bonus tracking in there. I think I could set one up for my husband too but £100 a month might be a bit unaffordable at the moment
I have one of these, I save £50 a month and in January I am due to get my first bonus. I've not really noticed the money going out either.

Morning, DMP teething problems today :( First Direct charged me my old £148 loan repayment event though my DMP payment was accepted by them. I have been on the phone for 20 minutes whilst the checked all the paperwork and she said she would reverse the payment. Monzo have charged the interest on my overdraft even though they said this would stop my repayments to them are £14 and the charges are £10 so that could take a long time to repay :(

Sorry to hear that, I hope it all gets sorted out soon. This month may have teething problems, but that means next month will go smoothly once it’s all sorted out.

Spoke to Monzo and I’ve only been charged part interest for June so July should be interest free. My payment came back from FD hopefully next month will be more straightforward

That's good. As Suzanne says there may be teething problems to begin with but it will sort itself out. Wee done on your progress so far.

    Morning,
Still no news from PayPal in regards to my DMP, maybe they'll get in touch when they don't receive a payment? They are not on my credit report for some reason so I am not too worried about it.
Received notification of my UC payment and its more this month hooray! I have an extra £256 this month which will help with the 3 birthdays we have coming up (I already have some birthday savings in my EF pot)  and I can put £150 into the EF and £50 into the Help to Save Account.
I have 4 items on Eb*y with bids and an enquiry on a FB item for sale.
My reverse meal planning is going really well (on Old Style Forum) I have 51 lunch and dinner options on my list and plenty of breakfast options. I was under budget on my food shopping last week and will be again this week, I have also been really organised with freezing leftovers. Our freezer was full of fruit from our allotment so I made jam which made room in the freezer for food.
I have done a survey this morning too, I've earned around £38 since I started doing the surveys last month.
Step Change finally added a DFD to my account of May 2024.
Off to add some more items to Eb*y and do some chores
    Have a good day all

    Morning
My DMP account is tracking my first payment so have updated my debt total in signature.
Was disappointed that Tesco who said they would stop charges and interest have charged me £12 late payment fee will speak to SC about this.
Decluttering is going ok, not as good as last month, running out of things to sell (or the energy to list them). I do need to post a box of books to Zapper which will get another box out of the house. I currently have about 4 boxes of stuff to sell/donate.
I'm very excited this week because on Thursday I get to visit my dad, in April my dad had a burst aneurysm in his aortic artery, he died 3 times on the operating table but they managed to save him and after 3 weeks on a ventilator and pneumonia he went home in May. He was in hospital the whole time on his own it was horrendous and we've only seen him on FaceTime as they live 70 miles away. I am only going to see him in the garden but I can't wait!
