We are also waiting. Application in on the 9th with Bucksbs. Just seen a hard search was done yesterday but it’s showing 25 months for term. Instead of years.  I’m now in more of panic. Do you think I should be worried?

Hi everyone I’m going crazy with Impatience here! Application has been with Barclays for just over a week they’ve come back and asked for one set of documents last week and nothing else since then.
Just want it to progress and it seems to not be @ the moment.

Am I the only one going crazy with impatience? Lol

Also waiting for Barclays. Application went in over a week ago, we've been told they have instructed the valuation but haven't put a date in the diary yet.

Hello, application went in today with Accord Mortgages! Why does it have to be Friday :(
Our application went in with accord on Monday, was meant to be Friday but they apparently had a technical issue getting it in.

We've found out today that they've contacted the estate agent and booked our valuation for tomorrow! So fingers crossed we should have a decision next week. Have you had any further updates?

Ah excellent, seems to be moving pretty swiftly for you...hopefully you will get a date booked in soon.

Did you get asked for any documents in the process? And is your tracker being updated? Ours has never been updated so that is driving me insane xx

Hopefully!! We went through a broker so gave her all my pay slips / p60 etc for the application, they came back and asked for another proof of ID because the utility bill I sent had a slight error in my current address. I haven't got access to the tracker, only the broker does, I haven't asked for details because I know I'd be checking it every 5 minutes haha xx

Hello! Joining forum as myself and my partner have just submitted our mortgage application online to HSBC.
Process was relatively simple but a little clunky in places! Praying once we submit the supporting documents (waiting on email with portal details) the application should run smoothly! Anyone got far with HSBC?

Hi all, quick update. Broker said mortgage has been approved subject to valuation this AM. (HSBC)
Awaiting date of valuation now. Things seem to be coming on nicely and as it was my birthday yesterday Which was difficult being away from home and unable to do anything, I feel a bit more positive today!

  • Hi all,
I'm very jealous of all those who've had quick responses.
Nationwide so far have been extremely slow. I'm purchasing a new build through a brooker, he submitted my application on the 1st June, all accepted on the 3rd but a desktop valuation couldn't be arranged until today (19th)!!! The application has been approved subject to the valuation, crazy timings for a desktop valuation!
I hope others are having more success with Nationwide!
