If you don’t mind me asking, who did you email in order to escalate? We’ve went off payslips after we were told nothing else was needed and then got told we then needed P60s which we sent and then got told nothing else was needed and then got asked for a gifted deposit form and have been told nothing else will be needed. It just seems like their dragging their heels for no real reason and it’s so frustrating. We were told it would be looked at mid January but has only just started being looked at now!
My MB emailed the Business Development Manager and the 'Ops leader'. I also asked my MB to forward on an email that I wrote. It would be easier for us all if they gave us the process, and then they followed it and kept us updated each step of the way. The frustrating things are being told one thing then something else happening. My deadline for an offer is Friday but I keep chasing and still no offer.
I did also put a review on google and got a response direct from Vida asking me to email their complaints department. I have not done so yet because that was the day I was told my case had been escalated but to be honest I wish I had as a week later and still nothing. I would suggest that route to anyone that thinks their case has not been handled correctly.
Have u had any luck yet?
I've emailed the complaints team so see what there will have to say as it's getting beyond a joke know.
Still nothing. Sent over the proof that we still had the deposit in the bank and apparently gone back to underwriters so who knows? I don’t know whether they underwrite the case and then request more or wait until they’ve got everything and then underwrite it

It looks like there underwrite and then keep requested more documents and it goes back to the underwriter
    Absolutely backwards this company

Tell me about it....I've emailed the complaints department asking for an update..should get a reply within 72 hours if I'm lucky...asked MB today too he said he hasn't had any update since last week.
I really want to ring them but I know there will not speak to me directly.....the waiting game is getting to me know

So today we were told should have an offer, underwriters then came back and said they’ve found an unpaid loan from 2015, which wasn’t defaulted just unpaid, I’ve now paid this off and now they’re saying they’ll have to relook at the case due to the new increased “risk” which is strange seeing as I’ve paid it off now?

It was like a payday loan company that I took out in 2015, not a defaulted account but in arrears. I’ve now paid it off but apparently it’s now a change in the case and changed the “risk”
