hydraulic failure to me is not oil related if a engine suffers from hydraulic lock basically water has entered the combustion chamber and as you cant compress a liquid thats why engine is locked solid. Are you sure the timing chain hasnt let go or swirlflaps in the manifold and been digested or possiblly the turbo if it has one hasnt fell apart and been digested0
