What a morning! DH collected the click and collct on his way home so I got up to put it away, glad I did as half the freezer stuff was missing and DH wouldn't have noticed. Spent 20 minutes on the phone to them and they said they would bring the items to me. Then 126 calls before I got through to the doctors. I should be back at work tomorrow as my fit note ran out Saturday. I've just got to wait and see if they will issue another (my fault, I forgot to ask when I phoned on Friday as I'd worked myself up that much waiting for them to ring back).
Rest of shopping arrived about half 9 and all put away. Its nice to see the fridge/cupboards full instead of just picking up things for a day or 2.
I've been looking at gifts for my sisters wedding next week. Think I've decided on a wooden wall plaque with all the wedding details on in the design of 2 hearts. While on there ive seen a horse shoe personalised for mummy and daddy. I know i don't have to but I'm thinking about ordering one from their children to give them as I don't think anyone will think about something from them. They aren't allowed to attend as they aren't allowing under 16s in and can only have 6 guests so thought its something they could give them.
Going to make the most of the sunshine and get some washing out.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

I contacted am@zon after still no dispatch on the mattress. They said its stuck somewhere in the dispatch unit and they can do a refund. I could order again to be delivered Wednesday. But she has to refund the money which will take 3-5 days. If I can re order one straight away for delivery, why can't they just deliver another?
She also said she had put me a £10 credit on the account off my next purchase so I used money from one of the accounts to order (will put it back once the refund comes in) but no £10 credit anywhere. So I've sent an email back about it. Will see if this one turns up.
Pizza and fries for dinner tonight, quick and easy and only £4 for the 6 of us. Rabbit cleaned out and dogs sorted but that's about as far as I got as I seem to have spent most of the day on the phone or emailing complaints.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Cfinance payment has come out today. And I've paid for DD2s first acro lesson back. Nothing else has changed money wise.
Matress topper has arrived. No refund on the othet yet and thats saying it'll be delivered Friday. Didn't get a reply about the £10 credit either.
I've kicked myself twice in the last few hours. Last night I almost ordered a brand new tent so that we could have some cheap holidays. It would have been 12 months 0% finance. And then I almost had a whole new bedroom set, should have been £5000 but he was doing them for £1500 (bed, 2xbedsides, wardrobe and set of drawers) as its the first set he had built and wanting photos and reviews. I still absolutely love it, our furniture is over 20 years old, but I've resisted both at the minute.
Just doing dinner. Not sure what children are having yet but we're having egg salad.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Good morning. Yesterday was a £48 spend at the groomers. It seems to be getting more expensive every time he goes. He does look better now though.
Been trying to find out where I can spend my L2S vouchers. I asked on a local site to ask which shops were taking them but just got links to the L2S site. I tried doing click and collct at @rgos but can only pay online, was goingtoget the bits for the boys room and some bedding for us. DH wouldn't be best pleased if I sent him somewhere to spend them and they were still only taking card payments.
Todays plans aren't going ahead so will probably be another quiet day at home. I might even stretch to sorting out the rubbish in my bedroom 🤔 😂.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

oh I've also had a letter from DS1 college saying I need to send them bank details. As he got school meals we would get a payment over the holidays. I don't know if college has been doing them all through lockdown but the extra will definitely help with the amount of food DS ploughs through.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Good morning. Was a pretty productive day yesterday for a change. DH went shopping as we had ran out of coffee. I started on the bedroom which has become a dumping ground. DH brought down the 8 huge storage boxes that were stacked at the side of the bed, i need to sort them over the weekend. The empty bookshelf was brought downstairs ready to get rid of. The 3 overbed units that were stacked down the side of my bed as we dont have enough room on the walls in the smaller bedroom have been moved on to the landing ready to be sorted. All 3 are jam packed with bedding. We must have at least 30 children's bedding sets that dont get used. Once these are empty I think we will get rid of them too or will go into the shed for storage.
Probably 50 cardboard boxes from Christmas and birthdays that were shoved in there waiting to go in the incinerator have been flattened, I'm hoping to get as many as possible in the recycling bin this week.
I couldn't believe how much bigger the room looked last night and for the first time since we swapped with the girls I could walk down the side of the bed to get in, instead of climbing from the bottom.
Need to finish in the room today and then sort through the boxes while DH sleeps over the weekend. Nothings actually left the house yet but I can't wait until it does.
It was payday for DH today but the phone with the bank apps on is flat so just charging it. Really must swap them to the new phone before it decides its not turning on all together (I've had the new phone about 4 months after dropping the other and smashing it but it didn't stay charged more than a few hours anyway).
I think DH is up so going to make him a coffee before I start anything else.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

I've spent £30 today on some underwear. After piling on 2 stone I really can't keep squishing in (or out of) my clothes hoping to lose weight.
Nothing else spent.
We got paid today, i wasn't expecting anything so it was a welcome £300 extra now DD1 has decided she's not coming home.
4 loads of washing dry on the line. Another in but looks like rain all day tomorrow.
Living room had a quick clean before DD2 did her dance lesson and I managed a little bit more of the bedroom. 15 bedding sets bagged ready to go, 4 more ready to go in bag but have missing pillow cases. 10 sets put in a drawer under my bed (2 sets each for the kids). 2 of the overbed units are now empty but there's still another full of bedding (mainly blankets) and possibly more about. Not quite sure what yo do with it all though.
Well i better get some sleep as said I would get up when DH gets home.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Well i didn't get up when DH came home, didn't even hear him come in. I got up at 9 to find a chicken casserole already in the slow cooker. We found 3 sachets yesterday and DH said he would pick some chicken up and make a huge pot but when I've just checked hes only put about 6 potatoes in when it needed at least 1.3kg. I'm going to mash up the rest to do with it as no way are they eating that much chicken in one sitting otherwise it'll be gone in a day.
I have requests of cheesecake for pudding so will get that done soon and then the dishwasher can go on full.
Dd1 has transferred her board over again so I've switched it to a savings account. Shes got a nice chunk in there ready for their house move. Id feel bad spending it when she's not been here since March.
Just seen we could claim a £150 clothing voucher through work for school uniform but you can only have £1000 in savings. With the Christmas/car/yearly payments accounts we are over that at the minute. Bit rubbish as we meet every other requirement.
Going to drink my tea and make a start on some of the boxes taken out of our bedroom.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Feeling guilty that I may have ruined all DH efforts this morning. I made some toast for DD and myself this morning and just gone in to the kitchen to realise the slow cooker is no longer bubbling, i had unplugged it for the toast and completely forgot. I plugged it back in while I did the cheesecake base but couldn't work out why it wasn't getting warm. DS asked what I was doing so I explained. His first question was have you put the right plug in..... NO! The chip pan was bubbling away. Its now on but hoping it comes out okay, reallydon'twanttothrow away that much money.
I rang the doctors about my memory last week but theyre putting it down to the anxiety and said it will get better with the tablets, i really hope so, I can't be left in charge.
Cheesecake base is made, just going to do the top. Nothing else managed yet.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Well the casserole went down well even though we had to wait until 7 for it. DH and DS had another bowl so I have 5 portions in the fridge. Not sure whether to leave them there for in the week or put in freezer for when the mayhem of school/clubs/dance resumes.
I've got a click and collect slot for early tomorrow so need to sort that for DH to pick up on his way home.
Been on the scales this morning and I've lost 2lb this week. I've only cut the sugar out of my tea and been watching my portion sizes (and avoided all treats except the cheesecake yesterday 🙃). I may be able to send the new bras back after all, I can already see a difference there 😫
Need to get some washing out and start working on the boxes that came out of our bedroom, i was going to start yesterday but decided to find the table that had got lost under paperwork and school work.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554
