Laid in bed but can't sleep. Looking at all the info for the forms and things has made me feel sick and shakey.
We had the rest of the cheesecake for pudding tonight. So pleased they enjoyed it. I have enough ingredients to make another but DH is going to pick up some cheese and cream so I can make one for DD1 too. She was saying while she was here the other day that her bf won't eat things like cheesecake and profitta rolls but she won't buy them just for her.
Need to sort presents for DD1 and DS2 who both have birthdays in the next week, i haven't got anything yet.
Suppose I better try and sleep before DS2 is up, I wish I had his energy in a morning.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Oh no, so sorry to hear you couldn’t sleep. That’s partly my fault for encouraging you to look at the forms. I hope you managed to get some sleep in the end x2

Mumoffour, it wasn't your fault, although I looked at the pip forms earlier i was reading through the questions on the esa form. I always say its DH fault, if he hadn't been at work he would have made me put my phone down and go to sleep, every noise puts me on edge when he's not here.
Didn't properly get up until DH came up to bed just before 9 so had a bit of a lay-in. Boys are up watching HP, no sign of the girls. Is that just mine? All 3 girls sleep till lunchtime but the boys are always early up no matter when they go to bed. They're Almost all teens, wondered of it was a boy/girl thing.
Shouldn't be any more spending today other than the bits DH picked up this morning.
Now I'm rambling so going to go make another coffee and get a shower and dressed (id stay in my pjs but the workmen are next door and I need to try and get some washing out, it wouldn't be a pretty sight 😂).LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

I’m glad it wasn’t me that made you stay awake all night. Although I have struggled to sleep at night recently. I have loads going on in my head and no one to talk to about things so it just goes round and round.
My boys are definitely earlier risers than my girls. My youngest girl who is nearly 4 can sleep in until 11am if she wanted to every day. She is definitely not a morning person. Whereas my youngest boy is up nearly every morning at 7am but is happy to watch films on my iPad in my bed so I can go back to sleep for a bit.2 -
Its horrible when there is no-one to share the load with. I have DH but he really isn't good at the emotional stuff and will change the subject completely.
Just putting a note of spending on groceries here as ive lost track. It seems an insane amount already. It does include pet food at about £36. Looking at the online account it is DH spending just little amounts. In one shift last night he spent 90p £10.80 and 9.20, i have no idea what on. I must get back to online ordering.
Groceries 442.26
Fuel 45.92
Takeaways 28.80
I also have 2 10% off big shop vouchers to use before the 22nd as I haven't been in store to use them. I might try to make the most of them and stock up on pet foods, toiletries and cleaning/wash things. Don't want to waste the 7.99 a month by not using the vouchers.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Good morning. Another night's broken sleep, it was 1am when I last looked but stayed in bed until 9 so not feeling too tired yet. May need to rearrange the bedroom as the cat has started sleeping on the top of my bedside table and keeps throwing my phone off to do it. It made me jump at half 5 this morning when it hit the floor. Then one of the dogs was whining so came down to let them out. Got back in bed about 6.15 and didn't hear DH come in at 7.
Ordered DS2 birthday presents last night, he was easy this year. DD1 birthday is first on Tuesday but other than a book she has asked for I haven't got a clue this year. With it being DHs birthday on Sunday too I have thought about getting them both one of those track racing days so they could go together. They're valid for 10 months so hopefully they'd get to use them in time.
I'm thinking about doing some charts for tomorrow to try and get the children to help a bit more, the youngest is 11 in a few weeks and they still ask me to do the simplest of jobs like make their drinks and breakfast, think I need to get more tough. I might try to follow the fly lady thread again even if I only managed to tick one thing off a day it'll make a difference to the tip.
Nothing really money related today, DH did get me a bag of potatoes last night (really need to find somewhere selling the sacks as the lay-by man hasn't been there) but today should be no spend.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Thats a busy week almost over.
Work rang Monday and that made me panic and I slept most of the afternoon.
Tuesday was DD1 birthday and luckily it was nice so she came over and we sat out in the garden. After 10 months we finally met her boyfriend. Was really good to see her. Later on Dad called with the children's Easter eggs. Another cup of tea in the garden. I don't like all this sitting out and not being able to do things while people are here as it meant we had pizza from the takeaway once they had gone as it was late and I hadn't prepared anything.
Thursday was DS2 birthday and we just did him some party food on the table, he loved it. He had a smart watch (kids one) and I challenged him to beat my steps. Was a bad move competing with a child that flaps 😂 he took great pleasure in asking me every half hour how many steps I had done so he could tell me how many thousands he was above me 🤣
Today I've had a phone appointment with the doctors and my ESA form arrived this morning, both leaving me feeling sick and shakey.
Really need to catch up on washing while its supposed to be nice tomorrow and then Sunday is DH birthday and fathers day but he's working nights all weekend.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Its DH birthday today. He'll be in bed most of it as working nights. I wanted to get him something so I've got a basket that can be reused and filled it with bottles of different beers, chocolates, bottle opener and a personalised glass. Things that will definitely get used! 🤣
Then I've just made a huge cheesecake. After both the childrens birthday in the week we really didn't want any more cake.
Hopefully will be a nice quiet week with just the pup having his boosters on Wednesday.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Another quiet day. 3 loads of washing on the line and another in the washer. Dishwasher has been emptied, reloaded and back on (with baking and a full dinner yesterday they didn't all fit in).
Submitted this months meter readings and we are now £177 in credit, this may have been so much more if the children had been at school, must get them outside more, away from the computers.
Helped DD3 with her English. Tried helping DD2 but we are just getting tears 😢 She says I can't help her as when she goes back to school they won't help her, she will just have to get on with it (she wont speak to her teachers nevermind ask for help). We are to the point im managing to get her to do 1 (out of 5) pieces a day after the tears and tantrums. She has just gone to ask DD3 to help her with her maths as she says she helps her better (probably just gives her the answers instead of helping her understand it. And then we will have tears because she had to ask her little sister to help her, can't win.
Banks checked this morning and nothing changed there. I need to go through everything and see whats been paid off this month and what is still to pay. Now things are calming down out there a little we can see what we have to sell to make a little bit of money.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Well that week went quick! Not to much spent on food but did cost £70 at the vets and payment for Microsoft has come out today, completely forgot about that.
Children have spent a lot of time in the pool now its all up and working, even through a thunderstorm.
I really need to get ready for my meeting at work this afternoon. I'm absolutely petrified.
Need to do a big food shop as its 15% off for staff this week and then i have my 10% big shop voucher too but I really don't want to go instore 😥
Also need to look at DH mr T points as had an email saying some are due to expire so need to check how much he has.
Also need to look where I can spend my L2S vouchers. I have £170 that run out in September. They would have got used for the children's birthdays but had to order everything online.
I also have the £80 gift card arrived for the Internet swap. After getting the email I checked the account and it said click here to claim so I did. Ive accidentally ended up with 2. Not sure if to send it back or just shred it. I'd feel bad to use it.
Right better go see what some kids are up to and drag myself to the shower. I shall be checking all accounts later for an end of month review.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554
