Morning all
More rain here. I'm really pleased about it - the garden is really benefitting. I can't wait to see how much the allotment has grown.
I feel really tired again today. I don't know why, I am getting good sleep and this seems to be confirmed by my new tracker. Oh well, just keep looking after oneself eh?
Today's mse things:
B/L from stores. OH did wonder about ordering dinner in but I might cook something. - we've decided on just picky bits for dinner.
Reconcile budget sheet - done. Moved my redundancy money to the savings account with the most interest. We need to look at some other savings accounts.
Walk later. It's supposed to come drier and brighter - done. Went on my own an called mother.
Make some cinnamon and raisin bread - done. Looks FIT.
Make some spice mix for chicken kebabs - done
Change towels - done
Gentle exercise - probably will do stretching rouitne - did a not-too-strenuous upper body routine.
No alcohol - don't have any in anyway haha
Dry and bright and windy. Might check the lawn and mow it if not too wet still.
Had a pootle round the garden and pulled up a few weeds
Wanted to go to local DIY shop but socially distanced queue of 5 outside so I decided to come home empty handed.
Had a tidy round of the spice cupboard
Mopped kitchen floor with bleachy water that I had prepped for washing DIY items
Have a good one all

Morning all. Hope the shops queues are kind Narola. I’m so glad I don’t have to do that at the moment. Not been in a shop for 12 weeks now and (apart from the local butchers) I’ve not missed it at all!Today’s list:

some knitting
continue with self care - use some lotions and potions I’ve been gifted. Feels cold here today, may have a long soak in the tub later.
put away washing from airer - no ironing here!Try and paint one area or at least prep it.Put washing machine on self clean cycle
Write and post fathers day cards
have a good day all. Purps.4 -

Realised I was a week ahead of myself with Father’s Day so didn’t do the cards yesterday or paint but I did get lots of knitting done, including sewing in the ends and sewing up a project I knitted a few years ago. Don’t know why it’s taken me so long! Dug out a lovely sewing book someone gifted me a few years ago so intend to read that today so I can stop procrastinating about my blinds! Have been further inspired by the sewing bee! Other things today:
finish making jam (but fruit and sugar in bowl yesterday)
make a ‘proper’ pudding for tea - will try a recipe from a lovely new book I was recently gifted
reconcile just for points CC
make something for breakfast to make it ‘weekend ish’ possibly sausage and egg sandwiches
more knitting
print off next weeks school work. Switch printer to black and white, we don’t need the school logo in colour!Print off some documents for a financial advice meeting I have this weekCheck on seedlings and water indoor ones.I’m sure there will be more but that’ll do for starters.Have a good day. Purps.5 -
Are you able to edit the document so you don't print the school logo?PurpleFairy26 said:Switch printer to black and white, we don’t need the school logo in colour!
I would be in touch with the school asking them to either send the work without the logo (they can always use a header or footer in small to add their details) or a cover sheet which you can opt not to print.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Morning folks
Quick check in from me as I have a zoom call at 9 (I think - link not sent yet!). Feeling slightly less groggy this morning despite less sleep and a disturbed night (OH bouncing all over the bed in his sleep). Weirdly my new tracker confirms this. I'm enjoying the new tracker. I'm a bit of a data junkie anyway but I found it really helpful so far. Ever since I was sick last year, my brain's default setting is to panic and try to conserve energy at the slightest hint of exertion. When I was doing my little workout yesterday, my brain was saying "stop! don't do it! Your heart is beating out your chest!" but because I was monitoring my HR, I could see that it was only peaking at about 120bpm, which gave me more confidence
Anyway, mse things:
B/L/D from stores - done
Log cals in free app (going well so far but only wk 1!) - done
No alcohol - done
Prep lunch/snacks for tomrrow - done
Put out clothes etc for tomorrow. I'm finding this quite useful. - done
Poss do a bit of work-related study (
) - yeh right
Wash hair with water. I am trying to transition to a water only wash. Yesterday I swapped OH's brush (bristles) with mine (plastic spines). He preferred my brush and I need bristles if i'm going to WO. - done
Def go the the allotment to check on things. Probably won't do any digging as it'll be wet and muddy - done. We did dig as it was just a bit damp. Soil is very sandy so it was fine.
Also mowed the lawn and stuck a bit more "seed and feed" down
Have a good one all

Morning, feeling better today, the exhaustion comes and goes with no rhyme or reason. Took advantage of this by baking the biscuits I have been meaning to do for the last few days. I have even managed to prep the roast for this evening just in case this spurt of energy does not last.
Check bank and budget - Done.
L/D from stores
Do a load of washing this evening
Call mum
Check emails
Check for surveys
