Morning xx
I got up at 6 and got washed and dressed before I came down. Slurped my first brew then drove to the pharmacy to pick up my repeat prescription. Pharmacy opens at 7. I'm now relaxing with my second brew, safe in the knowledge that I don't have to leave the house other than to put out the bin and recycling boxes tonight.Light rain here - hope it carries on and softens the concrete garden.
I've surveyed the garden and noted that the goose grass hasn't grown back (yet). I maybe pulled it up at just the right time - fingers crossed.
Have a good day

Oh, well, today has started well in Dizzyland...not.
Just had a row with DH who was pressuring me into giving him someone else's intellectual property, company research and website information (I do still work for individuals and have been in the past a confidential secretary to some government departments) to help him "get a potential customer rolling" in their new chosen venture. He got really narky with me about it when I said no I wouldn't just "forward it to him to have a look at" or log in to their private accounts. He tried to make me feel like I wasn't on his team and hindering his sales opportunities as I know the information he needs/wants. I told him that he would be seriously !!!!!! with me if I gave his information to someone else, so why ask me to do the same to my clients? He knows better than to ask me to do this! He has stropped off into Shrewsbury for the day to teach me a lesson...ah well....
Yesterday was a write-off. Spent most of it running around getting DHs car sorted with him and worrying about our oldest billy goat who is not at all well at the moment. He's had a serious zinc deficiency which I think we are on top of now, but for the past week he has had dreadful diarrhoea and has lost loads of weight. He's been wormed and vaccinated, so can't be that, so I'm changing his food to one with less molasses in it and trying to hand feed the grumpy old git. I'm surrounded by stupid males!
Oh, my new duvet set finally arrived yesterday, so will launder and pop that on the bed later. Must remember to put the recycling out sooner rather than later and do the ironing...sigh...
Big hugs to all in need - 2020 is turning out to be a year to forget for soooo many people.12 -
Morning all,
THANK YOU Skinty for your kind words, you wrote just what I feel but far more eloquently! I really appreciate it xx
I was up at 4.30 with DD who had a nosebleed, thankfully we both went back to sleep for a bit. It's pouring with rain here, but I am glad and the grass looks greener already! I need to do a small wash which will go over the airer, and nip to the post office. Also some bits of work and financial admin. DD is desperate for a new David Walliams book so will browse face ache market place next.
Take care all xx12 -
Since I was on Am@zon buying an 'Android Phones for Dummies' book
I had a bit of a splurge.
Also winging their way here are: a smartphone holder, kitchen scales, pie dish, tea towel hanger. and CD holder. Happy unbirthday to meI have a yen to make a crumble, and to have a tidier kitchen. Little by little I'm moving forward!
I really ought to make a move - may have peaked too early. Another brew might help. A three brew morning!!! That's new.
Then I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling.

Well I coughed all night, have totally lost my voice.. hopefully that will improve as the day wears on and I feel like I have had my chest run over by a tractor.. all in all a good night..
The washing can stay out until it dries.. and the door has been rained on so that has got rid of the dust but also means it is too wet to paint.. so the toilet walls are being stickered today and I am filling wall holes.
I shall scrape all the gubbins int he front room into a pile and set the timer.. anything left after 5 minutes going in the bin. My favourite cleaning and decluttering method.
Someone other than me is emptying and scrubbing litter trays.. I smell cat wee.. and I don't like it.. I can not smell anything else so it must be aromatic!

Morning!
Back in again as I'm theoretically working and it's finally cool enough to breathe.
Tried to ask for more work as it's frankly boring dealing with 2-3 emails a day and i don't fancy being told on July 31 'we've decided we don't need you next term/you've been at home doing nothing on full pay', even though logically, I know they would be daft to get rid, but at least I don't have to panic about getting the bills paid this year if they do.
Himself is back in work properly - he's not pleased about having to wear a face shield, mask and gloves or the way that arrangements change from one day to the next. What is good though, is that with the reduction in physical tests, the company has set up online test monitoring so there's a whole new income stream available, which has taken him up from a guaranteed minimum of 17 hours to 38 this week with him only working three and a bit days to get it.
As it's been too darn hot and when he's here, he's shattered from early starts, this week's flying has consisted of
Clear and clean the kitchen window and windowsill. Which involves sitting on the countertop, but I waited until he was around before doing it - as usual, he'd said he would, but the windowsill had loads of stuff on it, so I cleaned it off and waited 2 days before getting up there and doing it myself. It does look rather nice to have an empty windowsill, though. I think I might put less on there for at least the first few days before everything clutters it back up again. I think I'll sort that in a minute whilst the kettle boils.
I have vacuumed downstairs. The Idiot Cats are positively sluglike at present, so as long as I didn't switch it onto full power, they sort of glared at it rather than running away.
Oh, and thanks to his 12 hour shift yesterday, I had to leave the house for the first time in weeks, as said cats needed food. I'm pleased to report that my legs still work, shoes are an unnatural abomination when you haven't worn any since March, and although I'm obviously deconditioned a little from this, being a little short of breath for about 3 minutes when I came back in full sunshine and heat is nothing compared to the thudding heart and wheezing/exhaustion for hours I had after the last time I tried two months ago. 1,000 steps. Sounds like nothing, but it's massive for me compared to the last two months.
Hmph. Just received a hospital text. I am having a telephone physio appointment this Friday. I'm really not sure how they are going to be able to assess me for neck, back and hip issues without seeing me - it's probably a mixture of hypermobility and inflammation from the blasted arthritis, but if home based exercises without an expert seeing me were sufficient, I wouldn't have agreed to a referral from Rheumatology in the first place. Mind you, if gyms ever end up reopening, I've got my eye on one that offers reformer Pilates sessions and barre exercise classes. I could see myself doing that quite happily. Conveniently enough, I could get there on a bus from round the corner and it would take me to a totally Yummy Mummy area, complete with independent garden centre, organic and vegan cafes/shops, vintage junk shops and the like. Which would make a pleasant change from the local environs - if they ever all reopen.
Right, still no emails/work to do. I'm going to start on the kitchen.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll13 -

Just popping in to say hello. I'm just drifting towards a tidier house today. Bits will be done but nothing major.
Hugs to those in need x13
