(((Hugs)) Dizzy
It must have been so hard to let him go, but you did for him x
I spent most of the morning in bed waiting for the painkillers to work. I cooked leek and potato soup for lunch, served with cheese scones because it was grey and raining and I needed something warm inside me - DH didn't complain. I have spent the afternoon making a birthday card for my little goddaughter. I had to send her parcel (book and card) without the little doll I wanted to knit for her, but I had to be sure that the package would be delivered this week as her 1st birthday is on Sunday. I'll knit the doll when my shoulder stops hurting.
I have also started making some photo cards to send to the old ladies that I would normally visit every month in the care homes but can't right now. This time I'm using a photo of the beautiful red lilies outside my front door:
Off to take Rosie for a walk in the rain now, then I'm going to cook tea and curl up in front of the television this evening - hoping to catch up on this week's 2x Long Lost Family, if I can wean DH off railway programmes!

Hugs Dizzy xx
A busy, busy day at work, juggling the balls so that they didn’t fall on my head too many times. I was in the WAC last night, not least because we had a bat get into the house. As I have a mortal fear of anything that flies and flaps, I was out of the place like a shot. At 2am. DH earned his keep by trapping and freeing the blighter. It appears that he does have his uses after all!
Flying today has been limited to stripping and remaking the bed ,and doing the usual evening chores. We had about 4 drops of rain instead of the promised steady downpour, but I cba to water outside.11 -
Aww Dizzy hope you are OK x
Been tired today, long day at the paid stuff and a hideous Zoom meeting where one attendee couldnt get his sound to work, I was hosting the meeting but couldnt help him and everyone was waiting for me to come up with a solution.
Bit of flying done, DS helpfully pointed out that the cooker hood is looking grubby, but he did wash my car so I almost forgave him. Curry for tea with sauce out of a jar, really couldnt be bothered. Early night I think.12 -
Massive hugs Dizzy xxxx13
