DS1 and Boog had a tiff.. very reminiscent of DS1 and CF... without me getting punched in the face.. thats a win! DS1 grovelling forgiveness and Boog sulking in his room.

I suppose they have to be extra careful ..I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll11 -
Natty and Dave big hugs, prayers and get well vibes to you.
Overcast today but a mere sprinkling of drizzle, nowhere near enough.
Caught up with a lot of admin and banking stuff.
Collected a new-to-me mountain bike which a friend was selling, the right size for me and with working suspension. Planned to try it this evening but that coincided with the drizzle.
Ordered internet phone service as seems no sales people from TT are available to negotiate a cost - seems you can't get a landline only service costing less that full broadband these days. Very scary - I dislike changing suppliers of anything let alone if it involves phones. Commiserate over 'the beast' smartphone - I only got one last year although to be fair I love IT so I just treat it as a tiny cute computer so now love it. Browsing, texts, WA, FB - oh do some people make phone calls with it?
My house needs cleaning, where have all these webs and dust come from?
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
Natty, lots of hugs, posivibes and love to you and Dave xx7

Good evening! I have been AWOL the last 2 days as I am 'on holiday' 😂
Hugs to Dizzy. I am sorry to hear about Dexter, but at least you have his son 🙂
And an abundance of hugs and coping vibes for Natty, and GWS vibes for Dave.
I made scones this morning, and took a picnic cream tea to the rhs garden and met my mum there.
Flying wise I have cleaned up the kitchen after baking this morning, DH has put some stuff back in the loft and hoovered the LR, stairs & landing. He also washed up after dinner. I popped to the allotment to water stuff - it rained when I got home 🤦♀️ (although not enough, so I still needed to water the pots in the garden). I picked more strawberries. I plan to make some jam as we now have a lot of strawberries in the fridge! DH has offered to cut the grass at the lottie tomorrow, so I am hoping for a dry morning!
I think it is now bedtime, night night all!8 -
Round you are absolutely right.....I have no idea where I am.....days are a blur, posting at stupid oclock is becoming a thing again as it's the only time I get any alone time with no school routine to give physical distance from the young Skints. Dawn is starting to break and the green background noise started about 10 minutes ago...... there's a bird chirping that sounds like R2D2 .. goodness knows what it is..simple pleasures though.....
So yes big achievements were Tuesday and Wednesday........today is Friday, so yesterday was Thursday and I forced myself to go to dump as I had promised I would. So it was Omelette Day.....as in y"got to break some eggs to make an omelette".....although it does feel like I am upto my neck in eggshells today!
THURSDAY LIST -Off piste again
Upstairs hoovered
WUDUPA
Young Skints watered their container garden
Young Skints relocated camping tent and toilet tent closer to the back door
Short drawn by emptying and cleaning out camping toilet.
Cleaned BBQ and rehomed some carabiner hooks to hold utensils on the trolley 😁
Drilled some holes in side beams in garage and hung 4 X fabric shoe pocket hanging thingies to put all my laundry cleaning products/ other cleaning and car bits and bobs on
Omelette time......dragged everything bar white goods out of garage and hoovered garage floor and de-webbed all the rafters
Cleaned outside of all chests of drawers out back cleanly
Cleaned WM and TD carcasses and worksurface that TD sit on
Re-homed wine racks to worksurface height and stacked with my coffee syrup bottles
Started decluttering plastic tubs of cleaning bits into new homes
Searched some tubs for rubbish, broken bits, recycling and donations.
Counted 5 damaged plastic tubs, so decanted contents to be sorted properly into other half empty tubs (Friday or weekend job)
Young Skints searched garden for dump debris
I miss my big car boot, so I couldn't go mad..5 tubs of rigid plastics, 2 tree/shrub stumps, some broken decking slats and bamboo canes ,b garden tools and a black sack.
Managed to get in before the dump closed, so definite win.
I think I will promise myself another fling at the dump on Monday to encourage me to clean up the rest of yesterday's Omelette Day.
Right, time to go inside and make some food and wait for young Skints to wake up
The cold never bothered me anyway8 -
Hugs for Natty and Dave - any news yet? Fingers crossed for you guys xxx
Yesterday I was furloughed from my role as a breakfast club lady. Obviously I've not been doing this since the schools closed, but I have been helping at the childcare club for key worker's and vulnerable children, which means I can no longer do this. My headteacher rang me to ask if I was ok about being furloughed and let me know that the council are making up the 20% difference so I'll be on full pay (which isn't much, but every little helps!). My friend KT and I run the breakfast club together, and she is also furloughed, so the school childcare hub have lost two volunteers, which adds extra pressure on the others who are still there. I've been shocked at the number of children on the at risk register at the club and very saddened by some of their situations, poor little scraps. It really is pushing me towards becoming a foster carer, but DH is worried that I will get too emotionally attached.
Just going to potter today and tidy up ready for the big landscaping digging work on Monday.7 -
Morning xx
I wonder what sort of bird it is skint? Although that does rather confirm DS's theory that there is a pandemic every 100 years to allow the government to replace all the batteries in the birds. The idea being that all birds became extinct many years ago - and to prevent outrage the powers that be replaced them all with robots. The conversations that we have in this house are bonkers at times!
Round 1 =
take bag of bubble baths upstairs
take new bottle of bleach upstairs
get washed and dressed
feed the birds
put out the recycling
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Hope Natty and Dave are ok and being looked after xx
Rxx
