Hugs to ASB. I can't offer advice, other than be kind to yourself x
I didn't get round to making a list..... I have been pottering in the garden. I have finally sorted out and refilled the last of the pots. I also sorted a couple more boxes in the SH, and moved a shelf so that they can be put away. I have put away bits from the garden that need to be put away as it may rain tonight! I popped to the allotment to slosh some water about and pick some strawberries. I didn't make scones, but it doesn't look like picnic weather tomorrow anyway!
I think I will do some admin on the lappy before bed. I promised myself I would try and do an hour a day!

Hugs ASB x
Somehow I found my flying guag this afternoon. It must have been because DH went to work for a couple of hours! Downstairs dusted and vacuumed, dinner made in sc, cake and pastry made, bathroom cleaned and ensuite s&s. Kitchen now tidied, and online shopping order for Thursday updated. I‘ve just found that my preferred supermarket suddenly can offer me a whole raft of slots. I cba to delete this week’s trolley and start again on a different site, but fingers crossed I can still nab a slot in a week or so.Car booked in for its service and MOT at the end of the month, so a job off the list.8 -
Asb I am lucky that my parents are fit and well but they do rely on me for things at times, and there is a bit of that role reversal thing going on. I do know that if Mum ever ends up not able to look after things Dad will expect me to step in and do everything, he is very old fashioned about things like that. I guess for you its one of those sad situations where you just have to accept what it is, there is nothing else that you can do x
Round sorry hun but you are so like me with the overthinking of the whole phone thing!!. Hope its working OK.
Full day at the paid stuff, bedding washed because it is supposed to rain tomorrow, shepherds pie made for tea, dusting and hoovering done, online yoga class enjoyed. My parents came to visit, we sat in the garden trying to observe social distancing which isn't easy because Dad is a bit deaf. I just wanted to hug them both.
Bedtime, want to get exercise class done first thing tomorrow.11 -
blooming school trying to make me pay the remaining amount for the whole years music tuition given they havent had a lesson since 17th March because they never contacted us to do online lessons 6 weeks ago like they were supposed to and didn't give us the log in to access online content. I got Squeaks login this morning and still do not have Pixies.
Dot has been a nightmare again today.. She ended up going to bed without dinner.. she was given it, just refused to eat it.
I joked about having lead poisoning.. and wierdly I do have lots of the symptoms.
My front room is a total bearpit! My hallway and back room are at least clean and we can see the floor..

Evening all , just catching up with stuff and popping tomorrow's listy up for you all
For some reason I have done nothing today, well I did manage to dust the surfaces in the living room, got the bedding washed and dried and put back on the bed, and had a lovely walk with the dog at 10pm to post some letters.
DH is still struggling for some reason, sort of 1 step forwards 10 back..He's having to take a nap at 5pm after he finishes work, and then he went to bed at 9pm. He was even too tired to eat all his dinner tonight. He's been left with an awful cough, well worse than his normal cough..bless him. I'm beginning to think he shouldn't have started working today, maybe phased in half days this week. He only has to pop into the office so it's not far.. I'm sure his office would understand. Wonder if if I should find his boss's email addy and pop a quick one across to let them know he has had Covid as I'm very sure he hasn't told them.
Piggers let's hope it is only a hayfever attack and nothing serious, believe me you wouldn't want Covid as it knocks you out, and you really wouldn't be able to do anything even if you wanted to. So fingers crossed.. Take it easy though...
I think tomorrow, as it's going to be a lot cooler I shall hoover the house, walk the dog, sort out the ironing pile that is getting extremely huge..lol I also have a few letter to carry on writing...
Sitting here with a cuppa and watching Sapphire and Steel on Forces TV...reminding me of when I was a youngster and watched this. Then off to bed... xx

So fingers crossed.. Take it easy though...Not necessarily. My MIL was assymptomatic and absolutely fine and her husband never caught it from her.. the variation in how people are affected is vast.. from nothing to end of life.. it is insane. DS1 was really ill for 4 days and Fabian had a minor cough for a few days. I have a hideous cough developing and I feel like I have been punched in the chest.. and the hayfever meds aren't touching it. I am quite serious with the lead poisoning. I have stripped 2 130 year old doors and a skirting and dado of the same age.. that's a LOT of 70's paint! .. today I had Victorian wallpaper thrown in, known for it's arsenic content... Wonderful ecclectic mix of toxins haha We will see where it goes..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)10

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
Paid stuff for me today but bed is made and I'll try to do the washing up before I start. No dogs here at the moment and it's pouring with rain.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.12 -
Morning all
Take care of yourself Piggers, don’t overdo it if you’re not well.
Hugs to asb and anyone else who needs one.
Paid stuff for me again, as usual I will try to fly a bit before I start, I did manage to empty the bins and clean the kitchen last night, DH was up working late so no doubt there are some more dishes to do this morning.
Weather is supposed to be cooler, that will be a little bit of a relief for me this afternoon, my office gets the sun in the afternoon and it’s at the top of the house so gets to be a bit sauna like!Ok, I’ve slurped first cuppa, I shall make a start on getting on with the day. Back later x12 -
Morning all. I was in the WAC at 3.30 but told myself firmly to go back to sleep, which I did until 5.30.
It is cool and raining here! Only a very light drizzle, just enough to show on the windows and paths, but it smells nice. The garden is still damp from last night's watering, but a bit lot more wouldn't come amiss. Unfortunately I haven't yet managed to re-jig my water butts - on Saturday I took the view that shifting bricks and the paving slab they rest on, without help and with only half the usual strength in one arm and none in the other, was a bad idea! - but if this drizzle gets any heavier, I may go out in my swimming cossie and steel-capped boots and get the job done so that I can capture some of the wet stuff.
I have received a quote for the replacement of the old fence panels for considerably less than I had thought reasonable, so will go ahead (the panels slot in between concrete posts, so hopefully not a lot can go wrong). That will be another Toots job to cross off the list: there are still plenty more to be done.
Today has to be an admin day, but that includes making cards for my goddaughter's birthday and the people in care homes that I can't visit.
Hope that everyone has a good day and pigpen begins to feel better xx11 -
Morning, it's going to be a long day here. Was woken up by a big cat fight in the early hours of the morning, as it was one of my cats and in my house as I had forgotten to close a window I got up and dealt with it. But could I get back to sleep, I had been to work yesterday and had a 'coffee' with the rest of the team about what's happening, but we are none the wiser, just know what we have to clean rather than what and when we have to teach. So my head was in overdrive. Nevermind, we're half way through the week.
So far this morning I have swept up lots of cat fur (from other cat) and broken glass (OH dropped a wine glass whilst unloading DW this morning).
