Hypno, need to talk hon. Been accepted for mystery shopping companies, and i know you do a lot and don't want to tread on your toes? maybe when e-mails come through, let me know what ones you want to do and any extras i'll mop up?debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Don't be daft, P - its every woman for themselves!!!!
To be honest, once I start work full time, I won't be able to do as many mystery shops because you can't just nip out of the prison for half an hour to visit a phone shop etc!!! Whereas you can do that, so just go for it! As long as any test purchases of chocolate come right my way, I don't mind :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. My reading knowledge is a bit short too!! Cant recall Ballet Shoes either.? I never seem to watch anything I planned on the TV, twins get there first mostly! Ah well.
Think I shall have to investigate mystery shopping? Perhaps it would get the girls and I out of the flat, mind you we would have to go by bus at the moment. Still not good news about my car yet?
I had to get milk today, but I am still within my grocery Challenge for December, which is surprising me. I think that I will reduce my target for January to £300 and see how that goes. Lets face it you all seem to be doing better than I am.
Not long before your trip to France then. Reckon thats about the time my parents come back. They have been spending Christmas with my sister. She lives in France. I hope to save enough money to go and see her. I havent seen her since 2003!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hi Mooloo, you seem to be doing pretty well! As for the trip to France, I am not going - OH is driving the kids over there on Saturday and coming home again on Sunday - so literally just to drop them off. I won't be going anywhere further than work!!
BIL number 1 has been and gone - lovely to have seen them. The next BIL is on his way with his family so we have half an hour or so to ourselves for the moment, giving time for a quick coffee and a catch up on mse!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I loved Ballet Shoes as a child too, and was disappointed with the adaptation. It felt very rushed - it would have been much better as a series, or at least a two-parter. I thought Emma Watson looked exactly like I pictured Pauline, but I agree there was far too much focus on her. And didn't GUM come back at the end??
Oh well, I will have to just dig it out and re-read it!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Snaggles you must have dropped off due to the dodgy tonic - GUM did come back in the film version too!
From memory, I think a rushed ending was a feature of the book too. But I don't think Mr Simpson married Garnie - I'm even wondering if Mrs Simpson wasn't still alive.... I will have to go and find the book.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
