Thank you all! Went out to Nanas, but she wasn't in. Waited around in the car for a bit in case she came home but to no avail, so ended up putting a note through the door and leaving her present in a bag outside. Serves me right for trying to surprise her, really :mad:

then popped in to the ex-boss to hand his Christmas card over and had a nice drink and a bit of a catch up - the kids did nearly eat his supply of crisps, such a luxury they are! After a swift lemonade, we have come back home, having a quick coffee before going out for something to eat and then ice skating.

The children are pretty hyper, so I hope they calm down before the skating otherwise I envisage a broken bone or something and that won't do 2 weeks before their epic ski adventure!!

Thanks Mooloo - I would say have a peaceful Christmas, but I expect it will be anything but, at your place!! Hoping that you manage to get through it without too much stress!

Somehow, I have just managed to pick up £120 worth of mystery shopping over the Christmas week!!! Woo hoo hoo and a ring a ding ding :j

Off now to have a guilt free Christmas dinner out - yum yum. Back in a bit!!
