Merry Xmas to you and yours Hypno. Are you still accepting printer cartridges? I offered you mine, thinking it would soon need replacing, but despite Dell telling me every day that I should order new cartridges, the printer is printing as well as ever, hence no package sent to you yet. :cool:

Hellooooo!!

Back from a lovely meal and ice skating - we were very DFW, I ordered off the "appetiser and light bites" section of the menu - chicken satay and salad. Yum. Coffee to drink because it was cheaper than fruit juice! The children had a main course each, but we all managed without a pud, so that kept the bill down nicely.

There were about 12 of us, then the kids all went ice skating and had a good time, and I was treated to a hot chocolate by one of the others so again, all good!! Back home now and collapsed immediately!!

Presents all unwrapped, the children are amazing and I am so pleased to have them - no complaints, genuine surprise at the presents they DID get etc.

Due to the nature of Christmas here this year, present opening was done as quick as a flash! Fresh bread baking in the oven now, ready for bacon butties, and OH has gone on a battery hunt, because some friends gave him a remote control helicopter :cool: He is like a child with a bestest toy ever!! I, got a hamper from a friend, filled with jars of coffee, chocolates and a CD, I got a bottle of champagne from some friends, and lovely chocolates from other friends. Not bad at all :xmassmile

Evening all! Back home again from a nice day at Mum's. Lovely meal, and came home with a doggy bag of food! More nice presents, including euros for the kids, a bottle of baileys (YUM) from an aunt, biscuits in a fab tin which will make an excellent hamper for next year (once I have eaten the biscuits, obviously!) some perfume, books etc. Watched Finding Nemo and Shrek on the telly and generally had a typical Christmas day, I think!

So, back now with a cup of coffee and watching Dr Who. OH still trying to get the helicopter to go in the right direction!!
