BTW, any news on the date of your grand TV appearance? Sorry, haven't read back through everything, so I've probably missed it!

hi PP, TV appearance on 13th Feb if all goes according to plan. Some way off yet!

It is cold and grey here - the mist has been hanging around all day, and even indoors with the heating on it feels chilly! If I had a log fire, I would be certainly huddled up in front of it. As it is, I have the fan heater on - not quite the same!

Hey Snaggles, I was about to tackle my enormous washing heap, until I cunningly discovered that I can hide OH's Christmas presents under it until Tuesday. There's no chance of him even noticing it, never mind looking through it for any reason!
AND it means I can justify not doing any of it!

Some presents are done, others nowhere near.......Oh well, OH is back from work in a couple of hours, perhaps I can tempt him into all things Christmassy?

Anyway, t'is Christmas eve and the presents are FINALLY wrapped and under the tree. So today's plan is to

• have a shower and get dressed (always a good start),
• whizz round a la flylady to just keep on top of my very tidy downstairs,
• take the kids to a FREE party put on by their karate club
• nip to the bank to pay in my radio winnings
• go to Sainsburys to buy selection boxes for a friends children
• head over to see my Nana
• meet friends in town - they have booked somewhere to eat, I am working out how I can keep this MSE.
• Watch the children go ice skating (again for free)
• Come home and collapse!

So, a very busy day in store, and the only problem is paying for the Christmas meal with friends - it is something we do every year, and it is fun, so perhaps I will just say "sod it" and pay for it out of next month's grocery budget. It won't be too expensive, but even though.......

Last year we kept it very MSE because DD came down with a sickness bug so she couldn't go and I stayed at home to look after her - instant half price meal Don't want things to be that drastic this year!!

Just checked online banking and OH has been paid a week early - can def borrow from next month's grocery budget then!! Woo hoo, may even be able to make out that I am not on a strict elimination diet!!
