Is it on TV? I've never seen it! Have spent the afternoon trying to force myself into festive mood watching Christmas Carol (cartoon version), Porridge Christmas episode and now TOTP2... :o

The turkey pasta thing was quite acceptable! Certainly cooked quickly and filled a hole in our tums!

I was brought up on Hitch-hikers guide so I can indulge in a little "Dad moment" this evening by watching it. In his obit I wrote "So long and thanks for all the fish" :o

The film was released too soon after he died for me to be able to face going to see it - I would have blubbed my way through it, so today will be the first tim I have seen anything other than the TV version. Might be wise to keep the tissues nearby, just in case!

Aww, I hope you enjoy the film - I think it does it justice :)

I've read the books, and seen the TV series, but never seen the film; and as for Happy Feet, it looks very sweet, but I don't get the channel! So Hitchhikers it is, which I'm glad of - sounds like a lot of us will be watching it. My only issue is, can I manage to have a bath beforehand? Then its back to my list, which is nearly done.

I'm off to my mum's tomorrow, won't be back online till next Saturday, so a merry Christmas to hypno and all her household, and to all the posters and lurkers and casual visitors to hypno's diary. See you next weekend, after its all over!

    xx

Happy Christmas to all those who are disappearing over the next day or so! May you have lots of fun and delish food, and time to spend with those who mean lots to you. (and putting on a brave face when with those who you would rather not spend so much time with!).

Am doing slice the pie at the moment - quite addictive in a strange sort of way! Still no presents wrapped up, though. Must do them tomorrow otherwise I will be in bother.

OK, so it is the day before Christmas Eve, and I have a pile of unwrapped presents in my bedroom.........guess what I will be doing today!

No plans to go anywhere today, so a day at home, doing bits and pieces will be most welcome I think. OH is working all day, but I will do a roast dinner for us all this evening, if I remember to get the joint out of the freezer.

I hope you all have a good day, and for those of you who may not post or lurk between now and Christmas, I hope you have a peaceful and happy Christmas xx

Morning Hypno hope you are well.

I am having a day in too today although I finished my wrapping last night. Will be pottering about doing housework today as I would imagine we will get some visitors tomorrow with pressies for my little girl.

    Have a good Sunday :D
