Glad you had a good day Hypno. I can't wait to see the programme. I love your idea of doing 10 bits of stuff a day. I never do more than 7 things at a time as it makes it seem so much more managable. If I had to do the whole house i'd never start but I can cope with 7 things. Think I might be becoming obsessive though as then I do 7 lots of 7 things. Obsessive or slightly bonkers! Hope you enjoyed the fish and chips.

  • We're not worthy! Great that you had such a good time and noone will care about lack of tiles although I can understand why you get worried - I'd be the same! Good news that you have some leeway with the payment hols...needs must & you'll catch up in the end! Hope you had a lovely time with P!! Chilling all important in the DFW journey!

Morning guys! LJD, 7 lots of 7 things. hmm, might try that at the risk of developing OCD!! I didn't have chippy though - just for the kids. I am not spending that sort of money on food that I don't really enjoy! I always thought chippy was the cheap option with regards to fast food, but seeing how little change I got for 2 small portions of pie and chips, out of a ten pound note, made me glad I hadn't asked for a portion myself.

ISOM, Gemmzie and everyone else! Helloooo! I have put the figures in the spreadsheet and we should be ok for January if we don't get the car fixed really. We will work around that one, and get ebaying etc after Christmas to find the extra money somewhere.

What the spreadsheet does show me is that without these payments going out, we would have a very pleasing spreadsheet to look at once I am earning. So, that has spurred me on to get rid of those bloomin debts as quick as possible. I really want to hammer them down so that we can have that kind of breathing space EVERY month.

We have a loan that comes to an end in the summer - the payments for that are almost £200 so that will be a good amount to be able to snowball - then hopefully we really WILL see a difference!

No skiing this morning, so the children are having a much needed lie in, and no skiing tomorow either!! This afternoon I am working in the bar, but apart from that, a lazy day I think. Time to catch up with ourselves after a hectic week.

Have a good day, everyone xx

 I'm glad you're having a quiet-ish day, hypno - but you know, you have to eat more than chocolate and mince pies! :naughty: Even some pasta would help, as well as the protein. And what about something daring like, I don't know, say, vegetables??? :snow_laug And coffee, obviously....:coffee:

I'm ploughing through my list (one done!!) am on quidco at the mo to get the cashback - but cos its a convention, the £19 rooms are gone at Travelodge, so its up to the £50 lot. Ah well, might get someone in to share with me.

Take care! And drink some coffee! :rotfl: :T

Only thing is, there is one bit around my kitchen windowsill that still needs tiling, and I am pretty sure it will be seen in one of the shots!!! Oh well, can't do everything!

Hypno, no-one will notice that, everyone has bits of their home that are less than perfect. Now, if they came to film here there'd only be about 1 tiny place in any shot that is finished. We live in a permanently unfinished DIY zone:eek:

Glad the day went well. It also sounds as if you'll have January's survival well under control too, even though it might be hard work. But that's what you're famous for on here, coping admirably in the face of all obstacles:beer: . Shame about the car though. I saw a quote recently and it's soooo true.

Have a lovely weekend. You all deserve it.

Sums done and signature duly amended - last lot of monthly payments has been made, so no more to be done this month.

However, the lovely postman has just brought me my radio winnings - a cheque for £200 and my USB broadband thingy :j :j :j Unfortunately the cheque won't clear this side of new year, but when it does, I can pay some more off the ski debt :T and take another chunk off my signature :T :T
