    Not telling ;)

Morning all! Slept really badly last night. When I was "clearing" the downstairs last night I came across all sorts of "stuff" that needs doing or that I should have done already, and of course last night I couldn't switch off from it.

So, I will use the two weeks (apart from today of course which is taken up with becoming famous) between now and when the children go, to work my way through the "stuff". There really is mountains of it - paperwork and other "stuff". I think that if I literally take 10 bits at a time, deal with those 10, then go and get another 10, then I should make progress.

I would quite expect that when I take a handful of 10 bits of paper, 4 will be empty envelopes, 3 for the shredding, 2 for recycling and only 1 that actually needs doing something with! Why do I do this to myself, need need need to deal with things as they come in. Perhaps this is the kick up the bum that I need in connection with it - my house (downstairs) is tidy, and I want it to stay that way.

Ho hum, need to get the car to the garage first thing, then on with the becoming famous stuff :D

Have a good day everyone x

 So today is the main famous day.... well, I'm glad not too much happened last night, you must have been so tired, today will be much better.

Poor you about the "stuff" you found - you know, something has to give, hypno, even you can't do it all. If most are now out of date, superceded, whatever, you'll be able to do ten a day - you have to do it, you know  - I remember what you wrote yesterday about the lodger's bedroom not being "available" :rotfl: right now!! You have to do the "stuff" to be able to find a place for all of that "stuff".

Anyway, Seaxwyn and me will be doing a ra-ra dance  as we watch in Feb, don't worry, no matter what the state of the house is. Hope it goes really, really well, and you enjoy it all.

    Thanks, YM and KC!

Yes, not only can the student not get into her room, but my therapy room is rather "busy" at the moment  and I had to do some serious manoevering to get into my bed last night too!

Still, 10 things at a time will make a difference, I have no doubt of that, and 10 things at a time is not too scary an amount to take control of in one hit!

Better get moving, otherwise you will be seeing me on the tv in my (not so) best pyjamas

Morning Hypno  good luck for today!

(Wonder if she will still talk to us lot when she's a megastar, rubbing shoulders with Brad and Ange, Tom and Kate, Posh and Becks......?) :p:)

Did they say which episode you'd be on hypno? Is it sad that I'm really looking forward to Martin's show?

Well, just got back from a really good day. The children have been filmed sorting cartridges, making home made birthday cards, even making packed lunches! anything moneysaving gets in!! They even emptied our sealed can and counted the money up - £75.61 in just two months :j - and of course were skiing! We did an interview on the slope, and got very cold in the process!!! The children have thoroughly enjoyed myself, and I think my housework held up ok. Only thing is, there is one bit around my kitchen windowsill that still needs tiling, and I am pretty sure it will be seen in one of the shots!!! Oh well, can't do everything!

The guys from the programme are really nice, and I DID honestly ask if David Tennant and John Barrowman could appear on Martin's programme as the celeb guest, but apparently they are contracted to the BBC, so no go. Sorry guys, I did try!

We are scheduled I think for 13th Feb. We will go down to the studios then so if I go on a mad diet and fitness regime, you will hopefully be able to see a difference in my weight from the filming today and on the actual programme!!

Moneywise, I have promised the children fish and chips for dinner, so that is not good, also the car went to the garage this morning and the diagnosis there is not good - OH is now talking about taking the children to France in the little car

I have, however, just been to collect a prescription (£6.85 grr) but they have got loads of lovely gifts at half price, so started stocking up next year's present cupboard at £1.49 a go......not bad at all!

Karate this evening, then a drink with the lovely Pania. Hope everyone else has had a good day!

    Glad it went well! :T

I really wouldn't worry about a bit of tiling that needs doing - you live in a home after all, not a show house. If I was watching a tv programme and someone had a bit of an unfinished DIY job on display, I wouldn't think 'oooh the scruffy mare'! :D
