Well, I am almost done- done in more like! The house is sort of respectable (downstairs at least). All I can say is thank goodness the student went home today - if she came back tonight, she wouldn't be able to get into her room, yet alone into her bed

We are, however, now able to sit in the conservatory, have dinner in the dining room, where we also now have another christmas tree up, we can sit in the lounge without risk to life or limb on the way to the sofa, and none of the chairs have piles of ironing on them.

I am still in my scruffs though, and have yet to get as far as the shower.....need to do something before they turn up otherwise I will be mortified!!

Hope everyone has had a good day! Pass us over the Baileys again, Duchy, I can certainly do with it!

Oh, haven't they been yet? I thought they were coming this afternoon. It sounds as though you have got loads done! When they arrive, you will be fast asleep on the sofa!

They are due in about an hour - here for a little while this evening then back again at 9.30 in the morning and we will be "working" on it for most of the day I think, including the reporter/presenter lady having her first ski lesson :eek:

I have worked hard.....and so have the children, DD more so than DS but I am pretty pleased with their efforts!

Right, coffee almost finished so need to go jump in that shower!!

I didn't realise they're due in the evening! You'll be shattered. Actually, *I'd* be shattered - its not far from a normal day for you! Still lots of good vibes headed your way, hypno. My Christmas tree is up too! And nearly all the baubles are on it!

With all this talk of Doctor Who, I feel I have been a bit unfair hogging David Tenant, so I am volunteering to 'settle' for John Simm instead......I am just soooo thoughtful......:A

do you know. i've been reading your diary but i've totally missed why the tv crew are arriving, guessing it's something to do with the children skiing. Good luck with the visit
