Well, they are lovely lovely people. They have been round, and we have made plans for tomorrow. DS was in that silly "showing off but over tired" mood, so I had to keep telling him to calm down - he could have talked all night!!

An early night required all round I think, as tomorrow is going to be a busy day. First thing in the morning I have to get the car to the garage to get these dashboard lights diagnosed.

I have done something moneywise today, although not necessarily a positive thing in the eyes of some........because I have not started this job yet, and am unlikely to until the middle of January, it is unlikely that I will get my first full paypacket until the end of February which is a lifetime away! So I have taken two months payment holiday for January and February for the mortgage and two loans. The loans are on low APR and fairly close (ish) to term so the additional cost for the remainder of the term is less than the bank charges would be if I had a tight month, and the lady has changed my mortgage so that I can make flexible overpayments with no penalty, so although I am having two months off, I can overpay and catch up when I am able.

So, hopefully it will mean we can get through the next couple of months without incurring charges, but it does mean the debt repayment won't go down as quickly as I would like until the salary starts hitting the bank.

I need to put the revised figures in the spreadsheet and see how they pan out, but I am not sure if I am awake enough to do that at the min!!

Needs must etc. I have the option to do that on our mortgage but i am trying to not do it until we need to which may be soon if i dont get any supply work in january.

Yes, P, at ten past 5 today, they finally sorted it out. A Letter of confirmation has been requested but unlikely to be here before Christmas, so knowing my luck I will not hold my breath until it is actually here!! However, it is far more certain than it was yesterday!!

Cant believe i missed the talk about david tennant and john barrowman- just to make you jealous watched them both on sky re runs tonight- absolute bliss!! my coffee only had brandy in though- i did think about choccies, i kept licking my lips and had to think of some excuse as hubby may suspect why i had flushed cheeks and kept pressing pause on the sky +, i did see the delectable david when he switched on some lights at blackpool but didnt get close enough.

Great news Hypno - really glad the pressure will be lifted and with money rolling in from the new job, you'll soon catch up. Also I was DELIGHTED to hear that you are going skiing in March. You certainly deserve it.

Don't forget to tell us the date and time of your TV stardom. I'm hoping to watch it with karmacat. We will be GLUED to the screen.

Sadly the request for David Tennant to make an appearance today was not successfully provided........am hoping he will turn up tomorrow otherwise I will have a major strop on Snaggles' behalf and walk off the set (ie out of my lounge!).

Seaxwyn, don't worry, we will let you know when it is aired -unlikely to be until February from what I gather, but we will get the BOGOF nibbles in and the reduced after the Christmas stockpile cava and make an evening of it

Will look forward to watching along with everyone else- Very upset The Dr not appearing in your living room, am thinking of an MSE way to meet him- we could all sign up as extras, and work on both shows. I did think about the singing one for john barrowman but was the wrong sex- for the show not him- unforunately!!
