Are you still hiding in amongst paperwork?...I know that feeling well..my house has papers everywhere and I really must sort them as they are driving me nuts.
As for housework I need to do the paperwork first...so none is getting done...So good luck with that lot..take carexx

Hi Taxi, well, I think (and OH agrees, and I am sure Pania would agree too, having seen it!) that the paperwork is perhaps the majority of the housework - if I could crack the paperwork, the rest would be easy!!

I think the organisational bug is catching, OH and i spent this morning moving furnature and getting rid of rubbish, this afternoons plan (after the riviting grand prix has finished ) is to go through the finances and see where we are at.

You are an inspiration!!! - (also all this house work and finance talk steals my appetite so no evil easter eggs required)

Hi Puzzledbubbles, and welcome to my world!!!

I have sorted through what seems to be loads of paperwork.....still have loads to go, but I have put 2 bags full in the rubbish bin, loads in the recycling, and have a bin bag full of shredding. DS and OH were working through the shredding, but the shredder has given up!!

I will carry on this evening, after some dinner.........sadly it looks no different to when it started (yes, my house really is that bad) so I would like to end the day with it looking just a little bit better!!

shredders are rubbish - we have been getting rid of old bills and ours gives up after every 10 sheets - its a real waste of time!!

I hate it when you start going through things but it looks no different! At least you know that you have done something!!

OH thinks im mad but its those times i write a list of all the things i need to do, takes me about 20mins lol but it means even if the house is still a tip when ive finished i know that ive actually done something

I killed our shredder a while ago. We had a small bonfire last weekend. Worked just as well, and very therapeutic looking at the flames

Ah well, the shredder is behaving again, and I have done some more sorting. It is starting to look different.

Tomorrow I will tackle the ironing mountain that is also in the dining room - then I will justifiably collapse, with great satisfaction!!
