I'm so sorry to hear that, I remember you telling me about her. Isn't it the way that all the brightest stars burn out the quickest. I know she will be missed but be proud that with your therapy you made things a little easier for her durng the painful times. Big hugs. xxx
Thanks P, that was a really lovely post xxxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Morning all and Happy Good Friday, hot cross buns and all that!
Well, no lie in for me - my student is off to London today so I have offered to take her and her friends to the train station as the buses are on bank holiday timetable which means not entirely reliable!
Then I have a client at 9.30, and perhaps another after that......all good for the windows fund and the £10 a day challenge.
I feel a good amount of coffee required during the course of the day though......
I hope those of you who are having an extra day off are able to chill and do some fab things xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I hope you have a nice day too Hypno - I don't know what the weather is like there but it's gorgeous sunshine here, so I'm sending it your way.
Will you get some time off to relax after your clients?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Sunshine? Bah !!!
Grey, wet, blustery and almost cold enough for the snow we're threatened with here. The joys of living in the South ! Signed up for some overtime today -just having a declutter day so may as well add to the holiday fund in between. The beauty of working from home-I can log on for half an hour this afternoon-then three hours this evening-no travelling so don't mind and it's amazing how these odd bits add up.Money wise have £130 Quidco coming out this month, £50 from You Gov and will have a concert ticket to sell on and get money back on plus saving of travel and hotel in Belfast. DS's first GCSE is the morning after the concert and I need to be home to keep him calm and anxiety free beforehand that morning. Ah well didn't want a front row seat anyway (much). I'd made plans to meet up with friends I see rarely so I'm a bit gutted but resigned.
Gone back to bed with a coffee after feeding the mogs but need to get up soon and attempt a flylady imitation.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Morning Snaggles and Duchy! Just got back from providing my taxi services!!
Duchy, sorry you can't go to the concert.....but I hope you get a decent amount for your ticket by way of some compensation.
I do want to get some rest this weekend, but I do also need to get the housework finished - the dining room reclaimed (all the piles of papers have been dumped on the table there..........:o ) and I need to pack the majority of my stuff for our trip to France because we leave straight after work on Thursday leaving me little time after the weekend to get myself organised.
Our Norwegian student has gone to London for a couple of days, then flies home for a few days then comes back with her family. They will be visiting her brother who is at uni in Bournemouth (?) and then coming up here.......I will be away, so I need to make sure that the house is acceptable before I leave.
Of course, if I was able to do my housework on a daily basis, and maintain some sort of order here, I would be able to enjoy my 4 days off.........maybe next year!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Of course, if I was able to do my housework on a daily basis, and maintain some sort of order here...
My SIL has a perfect house, always spotless. If we want to go out somewhere though, it's really difficult to make plans, because she has to factor a couple of hours cleaning per day into everything. I tell her to just leave it, and do it later, or just miss ONE day, but she wont (can't).
I feel a bit sad for her sometimes. I'd rather be messy but happy."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
OK, then Snaggles, you have cajoled, persuaded, FORCED me to keep the housework status as it is.........KNACKERED!!!!!

Duchy, I was honestly quite moved by you sacrificing something you want to do so badly in order to help your son through a difficult stage. He may not realise what you have done for him, but you will know, and karma (actual karma, not 'our' karmacat, I mean) should be on her way round to your house right now with a large block of Green and Blacks chocolate and a winning lottery ticket.
Sorry for the hijack."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Morning people!! have a good day today hypno and let me know when you fancy that coffee. I'm catching up with some work right now but will be joining the knackered challenge later today, I need to, not one plate or fork is clean in my house at the mo, mainly in protest by myself that has not been picked up on!!:rotfl:
Big hugs to all:D
