Pania, what time is cricket on.......does it coincide with coffee drinking time?
I see you have received your cheque - I will be ringing on Tuesday to get mine. That will be a useful addition to the funds for my "off work" period!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Duchy, I was honestly quite moved by you sacrificing something you want to do so badly in order to help your son through a difficult stage. He may not realise what you have done for him, but you will know, and karma (actual karma, not 'our' karmacat, I mean) should be on her way round to your house right now with a large block of Green and Blacks chocolate and a winning lottery ticket.
Sorry for the hijack.
Awww thanks Snaggles-but ultimately my trips are MY mental health trips-and if I was feeling guilty and fretting because I knew I shouldn't have gone-it'd all be a bit pointless. The Green and Blacks sounds good though

Well, done nothing on the "plan" today since I last posted. Came home from seeing clients and felt a bit stupid because I forgot to charge one lady!! Oops  Must have left my brain elsewhere.........I will be able to catch up with her another day, but doh!
Got home and OH said MiL had called asking if we wanted to go for lunch. We did so, and have just got home.....so no housework done....nada!
Oh well, it is a day off!!
Pania is coming for catch up time this evening so that is good - and she is used to my messy house!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Nice to see you chill out a bit ..you'll have more energy to do it tomorrow..can't believe you forgot to charge someone but don't feel bad as I gave £5 too much change to someone the other day..lol...0

I couldn't believe it either!! I have only done it once before and vowed I wouldn't be so stupid again!
Maybe it is the lack of chocolate that is causing my brain to go mushySuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
What a blustery night!
Well, today I have to get to the bank as soon as it opens to transfer some money around ready to take away with us next week. It is my only "window" of time when the banks are open between now and when we go, so I have to take the opportunity while it is there.
Then I have a client this morning (who I will remember to charge) and then into the bar for my last shift there.
Finally, I have a wedding reception to go to. Very DFW, I have got loads of champagne in my wine rack that various people have bought me, and so I can wrap up one of those. The good thing about wine is that you can keep the dust on it so it looks like it has been stored in a proper wine cellar :rotfl:
I had a lovely evening with Pania yesterday - put the world to rights and shared a twix
I hope everyone has a good day, and that you do not have too much in the way of bad weather xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Morning Hypno
You really do inspire me, do you ever ever get tired? I hadn't read up for a while, when do you start your new job? I've got to pay some money in but will do it via the post office instead, which means no doubt dragging whinging children out

Hi Jelly babies!! Yes, permanently tired! I would prefer to pay in at the post office, but sadly one of the banks I need to go to is not Post office friendly, so have to make a journey into the city armed with passbooks etc.
New job starts at the beginning of May - I could do with it being sooner, but have to be happy with what they want really. It just means no salary from anywhere at the end of April
