    Bonfires are lovely Hyp - very cleansing for the soul I think ;)

    I've even heard of counsellors who recommended having a bonfire.
    Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:

    Didn't there used to be a channel on digital tv a few years ago with a real fire burning on it? I used to love that.

    Sometimes my shredder can't cope all the work and has to have a little rest (I can empathise with it). Anyway, I tried to burn some paperwork but it wouldn't set on fire and the only flammable substance I had was vegetable oil which I doused on the paperwork. I still couldn't get the damn thing to light (I didn't last long in the Girl Guides :rotfl: ). I felt like a complete failure. :o
    Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time :mad:

    Morning all!! It has snowed a lot overnight so everything looks beautiful and sparkly!

    Inside, I am still surrounded by papers.....but less than I was yesterday!!

    Nice and bright here today, have washing out and house is tidy -I must be bored. Ironing still to do and have all the large stuff to move out of kitchen ready for flooring to go down after Christmas leak! One more lot of washing then that's me done.
    Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

    Blimey Bob - I have loooooads of washing still to do! Then even more ironing awaits!

    We are going for lunch with some friends (their treat!!) so that will be very lovely, then I will come home and iron until I drop!

    Ah well, the shredder is behaving again, and I have done some more sorting. It is starting to look different.

    Tomorrow I will tackle the ironing mountain that is also in the dining room - then I will justifiably collapse, with great satisfaction!!


    erm i didnt hear mention of another challenge ..but then i was working all weekend
