    Hi hypno

Glad everything is going so well. You *better* be on the Feb 13th still - Seaxwyn and I have a plan to meet to watch the programme together!

Well done on the weight loss all - I'm not doing anything in terms of weighing, I'll judge it in terms of how tight my jeans are... a bit less sugar on the oats in the morning, skipping a snack at night, thats all I need really. And to have absolutely no snack foods in the house.... done that for 3 days now, can feel a little bit of a difference already, and tho I may go back to the odd snack in the evening (especially on Fridays and Saturdays) I'll keep cut down on the sugar, it had got to be ridiculous.

Anyway, hope today has gone well, take care.
    xx

Hello! A good day generally - went to the gym at lunchtime and kept away from the canteen :A then had an observed teaching session which I was very nervous about, but it went really well, and I got a very good report - better than I expected, so was pleased with that.

Only thing is that now I am too tired to cook, and am trying to resist the ease of a takeaway.......it wouldn't be good in terms of diet or dfw, but it would be easy and yum!

    I will try to resist.

Hope everyone has had a good day x

  • Very stressed day here and have resprted to G&T & red wine...not good for the no alch in jan! Have lost 7 ibs (I think!!) so far which is good but have done this by just cutting back on rubbish & trying (not always suceeding!!) to stick to 3 meals a day! Have done a 2.7 mile run this week & will do another this weekend...excersise is the key me thinks! Great that the observation went well! I gate those & great that I dont have to do them any more so hugs as I know how nerve racking it is!

Morning all! The end of another week is upon us, and another day closer to payday!!

I braved my spreadsheet last night, and am pretty pleased - given the cost of getting the car fixed, and the extra expenses incurred with the lost passport saga, together with the amount of petrol we put in the car to go to France and back etc, I am surprised to see that I am not far out! Hopefully a little tweaking will mean that we can get through January without incurring charges - something that at the beginning of the month seemed impossibile.

Have a good day everyone x

Thats excellent news! It just goes to show, our debts feel like such a burden, but in reality we are doing (and I'm very determined to keep that "we" in there) *so* well! What's your weekend going to be like, hypno, are you getting the kids back yet? Working at the bar? Have fun, whatever you do.

    Hi all.
One very jaded Moo here!. Been a traumatic week for me, so the good eating habits have gone a bit wary. I have never been on a diet in my life. Always been one of those lucky slim people (or too thin), however since my hysterectomy 2 years ago.(this week), I have put on just over a stone, and am now from a size 8 to a 12.!! (Well the odd 10 is ok, but too tight for comfort). With giving up work the last 5 months with this arm, and the kids, I think I need to build up my exercise, and just note the amount of junk I started to eat when exhausted.
Or I will be joining a club!!!
Missed the MSE programme on Wednesday, as I went out for a meal for DBF birthday. (day late but hey ho.)
Twins out so I have peace for a couple of hours. Yippeee
