Hi Hypno, I'm just the same. OH and I walk round like zombies half the time from lack of sleep. My ridiculous working patterns bother me even more than my debts to be honest.

how are you getting in with being organised after reading that book? Has it helped?

Baby steps, Seaxwyn, with the book - I am certainly getting better, but was so badly disorganised before that I still have a long way to go.

I have to say working full time helps - you have no option but to get into a routine!

Also, having no kids around helps too - no having to remember the various forms/extra cash for school stuff, or that they are going round a friends after school/need to get to karate/skiing/homework fights/etc etc!!

So, we shall see how things pan out when the children get home......

My disorganisation, or rather the results of it, have often kept me awake. Then I am tired so am even more disorganised......I think it is a vicious circle really, and need to break it.

I have just decided, don't ask me why I have decided right this minute, to make a leek and potato soup for lunch today which I can take into work for lunch during the week.

Also, I bought some Jerusalem artichokes because they were reduced to a few pence, but I have no idea what to do with them......off to google now!!

    Hiya!

I'm up and in the land of the living again, tho only just - planned engineering works, groan, groan, groan, and an upset stomach whilst travelling. I think I may have to go back to bed this afternoon, totally agree with the zombification if stuff keeps me awake. But I feel good right now - same as you with the soup, just cooked some dried split peas to be the basis of a soup that'll last for a few days. Determined not to do too much today, slobbing day was the plan, tho there are little bits of things that *have* to be done. No big stuff!

Morning KC! Sorry you are not feeling 100%, hopefully a day of doing next to nothing will help sort that out!

I found a risotto recipe for the artichokes, so will do that for dinner tomorrow I think........will let you know the success (or otherwise)!

Thanks! But I'm not bad really - just tired, as I knew I would be after so many hours out the house on a Saturday.

Risotto - I never thought of risotto.... mind you, going to do a rice and lentil thing for tea, since together they have the same protein as steak (complementary amino acids, blah blah) so better not for me, and have *lots* of onions to use up, I double ordered a week or so ago.

Next to nothing coming up.... :D

i've never tried Artichokes Hypno you'll have to tell us how it tastes.

Trying to figure out if its worth pegging out the bedding, it's breezy and doesn't look like it's raining yet but i'm not convinced.

Do need to be moving and tackle the other half of my to do list today.

I too need to do something - still in my PJ's on the sofa! Need to go out and tackle the accounts, and also want to go to boots for a rummage in their sale at some point.

Perhaps once I actually start to do something, I will be more inclined to do something else......for the moment I am inclined to do nothing at all, and although Sundays are nice to have as a day off, I have soooo much to do!
