I think you go to the left hand page and type in MSE nerds and it will bring up the group.

Hypno, it sounds as if your new colleague is trying to tell you that she 'knows' you on MSE. If so, I'm sure she has the highest respect for you like everyone else here.

I agree with seaxwyn I think she knows who you are too! but is probably a bit scared to say so.

I know that I would be a bit scared to say anything to anyone I recognised on here, perhaps cos I feel that I read a lot but dont post much.

My problem with not posting is that I am actually not in debt but my OH is, our joint account where all the bills are paid is ok, but his personal account aint!

This can be explained easy.......today he needed a code to unlock a phone he got, I posted on mobile phone forum, he went on websites and spent a fiver, not getting code........I go back to forum and get the code for free for him.

Anyways, sorry to go on and on lol. Was glad to hear your first week at work was good, re the getting paid, I started a job and had missed the cut off date for payroll so they offered me a cheque and said they would work out the difference the next month, so that could be an option if you have missed the payroll thingy

I know what you mean about OHs not doing things the easy, and often free, way. All weekend, OH has been texting DD and DS in France and emailing them trying to get them to get the phone number of the guesthouse opposite the Academy for him to book a room when he goes to pick them up in a few weeks.

He has been complaining all weekend that they haven't replied. So what did I do? I googled "guest houses les houches" and came up with the place opposite within a couple of mins for him to book online!!

Simple!!

I have now told OH......JUST WAIT.....if i cant find it on Martin's site then do as you will, I think the word Martin has got him scared as it was him that first introduced me to Martin. OH is a waggon driver he listens to a lot of radio and once said to me 'heard an interesting thing today, write this website down' lololol

Well, I stupidly have been looking on house websites.....found some fab ones that I could afford if I didn't have any debt except the mortgage :mad:

Oh well perhaps it will spur me on to clear things a bit quicker. Once I have got shot of it all, I will be looking seriously! Only another 3 or 4 years to go!!
