Hmmm... thats a bit awkward, isn't it. Mind you, Martin's email goes to about 300,000 people, doesn't it? And even people who use the forum, some just go to the Argos freebies or something. Hoping here, anyway. Your journey sounds just right, hypno.

I've done pretty well today, wallpaper stripping, had a walk, got some bingo bonuses bagged, sorted a wardrobe, did all the washing up, printed stuff for a mystery shop, that kind of stuff.

One *horrifying* bit: feeling a bit tubby at the mo, and I measured my waist, while I had the measuring tape out to check out about moving a bookcase. And my waist is over 30"!!!!   I've never had that size waist in my life, I don't think! Some serious toning and aerobics are about to get started in the Karmacat household!

Anyway, hope you're having a good evening tonight. I think I need to relax, but I might be doing some scanning too. See ya.

PS secrecy.... (sp??) well, I blather on about mse to family and friends, and I've said some details of debt, but I don't want anyone else knowing who I am. Mind you, think about it, this forum is huge, how would they read through all the forums and threads to analyse and find their particular person? Hypno, of course, is a star :staradmin :staradmin :staradmin so people might well find her... but not little me (sorry hypno, its true!)

Savingmore - If you click on "reply to thread", there is a panel at the top of the box where you type that has icons to press for "bold" "underline" etc. At the far left of that line is a box with a letter "S" crossed out. Type the word you want, and then highlight it and press the "S" box, and voila one struck through word!!

Hi KC, I didn't worry about the MSE bit, but when she mentioned about SOA's and "people being advised to give up sky" my ears pricked up a bit more!!

This evening OH has gone to a function for this volunteer thing he does, and I want to do a bit of housework before settling down to watch some costume drama on BBC1 - real Sunday evening telly!! I don't however want to be watching it surrounded by the chaos that does not seem to have gone away even with the children not there!!!

    You're so right Hypno.
I imagined that after the children (!) left home I'd sit down in the evening in a clear & clean house with scented candles.......:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Instead I hid the washing up in the sink so Oh wouldn't see it on the web-cam :rotfl:

Oh, I forgot about that bit of your post! Oops..... But there's certainly nothing to be ashamed of in anything you've posted, of course not.

Me too, I'm dying for Lark Rise to Candleford to come on. I'm not watching Sense and Sensibility for some reason, I think Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet are too vivid for me, I think then it might be a question of switching over and having a laugh at Top Gear. Just got Antiques Roadshow on at the mo, and its Liverpool, of course.... don't know where it is, I wonder if they went to St George's Hall, the ginormous building opposite Lime Street Station..... oh to have riches found in a skip..... :rotfl:

Lark rise to Candleford for me too, although whether I will manage to watch all 10 episodes remains to be seen - I hope so, although others in the household may have other ideas if/when they are about on a Sunday evening!!

LOL at OliveOyl and the dishes hidden away from the webcam - I do that with everything....bung it in the dining room and shut the door! I am going to try flylady again starting tomorrow.......

I am like someone who gives up smoking a million times.......I will try flylady again tomorrow. Tonight is a quick "get rid of the worst of it" type tidying so that I can sit down without falling over things on the way to the sofa!! Shameful......so shameful!!

We're going out for Christmas and all 8 of us are going by train from washington to new york. Something to really look forward to.!!!:T
