Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I cancelled Rosemary Conley online diet thingy - I hated it (the online bit, not the diet bit). I just could not sit well with the food diary, and I was in danger of getting obsessed with weighing food, which I need to stay WELL away from, given my past obsessions with food/diets.
So I emailed them and they cancelled it - I have to say, very promptly and arranged a refund. so at least I have not wasted the money by simply not using it, which is what I would have done before, and I will look for a more "hypno-friendly" alternative.
I have been good though - would normally have had loads of mocha chocolate/coffees while working at the bar today, and had one cappucino and a bottle of water instead. Hypno do you have a Coop near you? They do loads of fairtrade & organic stuff, also all their eggs will be from happy chickens from Feb
.
We have also decided to eat better - a combination of trying to lose weight, the chicken programmes & Supersize Me this week & finished off tonight with disgusting fish & chips _pale_. I already bought free range whole chickens & eggs but will be doing the same on the odd occasion I buy breasts. Will be doing the same with other meat so will be depending on Coop offers (no markets near us  )
Anyway, how is the job, you've not actually said much about it?A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

My father-in-law worked in a chicken factory as a meat hygiene inspector for about 15 years until last year. He doesn't touch the stuff.
And he said that so much of the so-called better stuff isn't actually any better at all - they've got different rooms for the different shops, so one load of the poor pathetic birds will go into the supermarket A room, the next load into supermarket B's room, the next load into the fast-food C room - no difference whatsoever between them, the factory just bulk buy the chickens and they get randomly allocated. I won't mention names, but I was shocked - top premium retailers, and the very bottom of the economy chains all sell the same stuff - he said there's very little difference at all unless you specifically buy something that's classed as organic, free range etc - they're generally what they say on the tin.0 -
Hi ali - yes, the eating better is for lots of reasons, my need to lose weight one of them!! It has come at the same time as the tv stuff, so brings it all together really. No co-op near us, sadly but I will be looking around for places to shop so that i have a better idea of what I am buying.
PP, that is shocking that so called "graded" birds are not graded at all
As for talking about the job - well we are specifically told "not to"!! So, not much in the way of details, no matter how interesting it is! Sorry
All I can say is that it is a relief to be working again, will be even more so when I get paid at the end of the month, and I definitely have something to get my teeth intoSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. What a relief! Hooray, at last.
My OH has had to install Firefox. He's a hot shot developer and considers the site technically dreadful. He'd love to know what they've done to f*ck it up so that he can ensure it doesn't happen to any of his sites!
Ah well it's great to be back after trying to post so many times. I've been following your progress Hypno. Glad you're enjoying the new job and glad you'll get paid at the end of the month, I mean sometimes you have to wait until the following payday.
When are you appearing on TV? I really don't want to miss that?
